Cutup

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Introduction

Cutup is a collection of small modules that I wanted as a Rogue. Anything you don't use can be disabled. /cutup to configure.

Modules

Bleeder

Bleeder is a bar that displays the current duration of your Rupture. It will also show you how long your Rupture would last based on your current combo points.

Julienne

Like Bleeder, but for Slice and Dice. Shows the current duration of Slice and Dice, and the duration of your next Slice and Dice based on your current combo points. Accounts for Improved Slice and Dice, Glyph of Slice and Dice and Cut to the Chase.

Poisoner

Like Julienne, but for Envenom buff. Shows the current duration of Envenom, and the duration of your next Envenom based on your current combo points.

LightFingers

Automatically loots items after Pick Pocket is cast.

Spam

Blocks repeated error messages that are often the result of spamming attack buttons.

ahh - found out how to remedy this - it IS a Vista peculiarity - you need to right click on your WOW start icon and choose "run in administrator mode" then, when you make your changes to the UI in cutup, it records them and you can start the game as normal after that!

addon is awesome..but i have problem wit SPAM part of it
it simply doesnt work (maybe cause it uses rogue spam routines which stoped to wrok after patch 3.0.2)

plz fix it, so we can use this great addon in full potential;)

3.0.2.3-Beta has been posted, featuring the Hunger For Blood timer. Please give it a try. It'll show the current duration of your HFB, and color the bar based on how many stacks you have. These colors are customizable. I'll look into adding a notifier if you have a bleed effect on you.

There's one bug I'm aware of that I'm not planning on worrying about; if you start the bar, then change the options for it, and then cast HFB again, the bar won't update.

First thank you for the great addon

I think i've noticed an error on the calculation of the duration of SnD. I have the netherblades 2pc bonus, the glyph and the 2/2 Improved Slice and Dice. The julienne bar show me 18 sec for 1 cp but it seems that the buff is up for 22.5 sec.

the calculation goes that way:
(9 sec + 3 sec bonus + 3 sec glyph) + 50% from talent

heres lines of my combatlog (french version of wow, so SnD is "Débiter"):

I've just recently started to use Cutup after having to switch from AutoPickPocket since it has not been updated in quite some time and no longer works with the WOTLK pre-patch.

I noticed right off the bat though that I'm getting errors when trying to pick pockets while fighting (ie, picking the pockets of combatants in OHB.)
Could this perhaps be looked into? Thanks.

i am very happy to see that you are working on it! thank you at first.

i played a bit this night and there are 2 more things which could be very helpful.

the first thing is what G00DFe77a said. if snd is active every eviscirate and envenom is refreshing snd to its 5 point maximum. so it would be nice if your addon also refreshs the bar. otherwise its kind of confusing like "wtf?! i refreshed it with envenom, why is it timed out?!" ^^

another cool thing would be that everytime you get a bleed effect a little icon pops up or a text in your screen that tells you that a bleed effect is on you. the hunger for blood talent allows you to remove a bleed effect and restores 15 energy so it would be nice if there was an addon that remembers me everytime i get a bleed effect. so that you dont have to take a look at your debuffs all the time.
i heard about an addon that pops up a button everytime someone in the raid got a curse and you just need to klick this button to remove it. with the bleed effect it would be easier because it only needs to track your own debuffs and the hunger for blood ability is not useable on other persons.

please dont hate me for whishing all these things ;) i really love your addon and i just want to use this one instead of cutup combined with some other experimental addons i never played with.

Also, it doesn't refresh the SND when you are specced for cut to the chase and you envenom.

I would like to see it based off the buff instead of some set time limit. Since not every rogue will spec cut to the chase in order to get eviscerate and envenom refreshing slice and dice to 5 pt max. If you can make it read off the Blizzard buff that would give an accurate indication of the active Slice and Dice time.

yeah an hunger for blood bar would be nice as hell. its just a buff that lasts 30 seconds and can stack up to 3 times. every buff -> 3% more damage. by clicking this ability you refresh the buff up to its 30 seconds maximum. no variable timers or something. i hope this are all informations that you need to do it :)

you would make us rouges very happy with this third bar i think.

(btw with wotlk there will also be a glyph for rupture. adding 5 more seconds on buffduration, think this will be interesting for the future)

Timing seems fine, haven't tested with glyph. Thanks for getting some working bars up for us (no others seem to be working).

It also might not be taking into effect the LONGER duration of a Talented Slice and Dice (its up to 50% now from 45% for the full talent 3/3)
