- Boss health tracking gives you more awareness of fights
- Engage timer tells you how long you've been fighting
- Shortcut buttons provides easier access to common commands

- Profile System: Switch settings between your characters

Getting Started
When you first login with this AddOn you will see a black transparent rectangle with a blue bar labeled 'Default', called the encounter pane, in the center of your screen. Shift+Click on it to move it. From left to right you will see:
- Stop Icon: Halts the current encounter (you should rarely have to do this)
- Menu Icon: Opens the configuration dialog
- Lock Icon: Toggles frame anchors
- Windows Icon: Opens a drop down menu to show interface windows
Also, if you ever hide the pane and can't get it to show, type /dxe to open the configuration dialog. There is also a minimap icon.
Warlords of Draenor Update
- Encounters: Highmaul, BlackRock Foundry and Hellfire Citadel have been implemented.
- Party Module: Party support has been added.
- World Boss Module: World Bosses support has been added.
- Features: More new Alert Options and Spell descriptions on Options.

Localizations
Please visit the localization page to translate in-game phrases. It is open to anyone with an account. The most important phrases are the chat triggers for bosses, because they start encounters. However, not all encounters are started by chat triggers. The rest of the phrases are for display purposes. The following languages need a maintainer:

As a long time RDX/DXE user, i am switching away from this. (though i really like the way it works) the warning options are really nice (though should be way more "on self" warnings) My main problem with it is, that it often tends to skip warnings (audio warnings, visual warnings, could point out V&T pink meteor marks, but there are more), and reliability would be the first priority for me way before looks. None of the other bossmods do this kind of behavior for me. I have very much enjoyed playing with it, thank you very much.

Thanks, found what I need. But there is one problem, can you add automatically broadcast addon version in raid chat after relog or joining the raid? This function is already in DBM and BigWigs, otherwise I can`t get versions check without request.
If I add request it make me to wait all responds (there is no respond if player is changing zone etc)... Well it`s complicate without automatical request

The Versions.lua file in the main DXE directory should have all necessary functions and callbacks.

can`t find this option now. Where is it? I Want to add version check to PhoenixStyle, there are already DBM, BW, RW2 checks in 1 module.

I don't have any real objections to that, honestly the majority of my work with KLE has not been things that are readily apparent on the UI, as you said pre-processor, debugger, plugin framework, ect.
They add value, but not in a way that is going to drive general usage, the leveraging of DXE's already existing look and feel is what would drive general usage. I'm happy to bring these back end enhancements into DXE if its going to be maintained.
......... as for the slowness, well... I need transcripts to write up encounter files, and sadly by the time I got access to solid transcripts for alot of the heroic encounters I was getting ready to move across the country and start a new job =/

Well, yes. I know that KLE came in and picked up a bit where DXE left off at the beginning of CATA, but as was previously mentioned the development was rather slow.
yes the preprocessor is nice :), and also the debugger plugin for developing encounter file in game. Even if the development went slowly forward, it all works. and for me and some other the encounter works, and show the importent things.
Maybe it's possible to merge something back to DXE (the nice preprocessor, the plugin framework, and and some reorganizations)

Problem is KLE development has been very slow. I do love the KLE preprocessor and think if it was implemented in DXE it would be wonderful. Outside of that though I don't think KLE does anything groundbreaking DXE doesn't have already.
I <3 DXE so much. What a thrill when I saw it was in the latest update, hurriedly clicked wtf that meant and lo and behold, a modernized (for Cata) mod. AND, y'all finally implemented an auto-responder to boot. A feature that'd been requested for who knows how long. Here's hoping you can continue to improve upon what used to be a great mod and wipe out the competition again. :) /cheers
DXE Developing was never stoped !
the Guild Kalimdor's Legion forked KL Encounters from DXE and improve some points. look at this post ->http://www.wowace.com/addons/deus-vox-encounters/?comment=579
so now we have two addons they looks like the same, maybe it's possible to merge both projects.

I second this, when DXE stopped be developed I switched over to BigWigs again and now have come accustomed to the proximity that BigWigs has.
Would be wonderful if we could get such a meter for DXE.
