Cannot use it in China. Font wrong, any solutions? Like DXE very much!
Blackrock Foundry released
some fights are almost 100% complete but The Blast Furnance and Hansgar and Franzok are mostly just Cooldowns
I only tested 3 bosses so sorry if some warnings are misplaced, will fix them all when i can get the chance
I will try to update daily from now on, happy gaming :)
I like it very much back from New But I'd rather see Blackrock Foundry at work My English is not good please forgive me
@jimmydanny
sure i will try to help
go to folder DXE\Widgets and open Timer.lua, there you will see how its created
then when i create a bar i add this code that will call the New function on Timers.lua
and basically when i set a new/update a cooldown bar i call the function SetTime(time) in Timers.lua
dbm probably have all the stuff set up, you just need to add a new text and use the code in SetTime to get the .01
I have to ask, I don't know if you made the core once upon a time but... The counters on the bars, they even show .01 of a second, how is this done? I was trying to mod DBM to do it but could not find out how. This is not a big thing but I feel they do give a lot more accurate timers somehow. Probably just the feel tho.
Really hope you keep up the good work through WoD, Maev! Love DXE over all, DBM is by far inferior in my eyes on many points, the update speed not being one of the, which makes me ask my leading question above.
Sorry for the delay, couldn't work much on DXE lately but expect an update in Sunday or Monday the latest.
Will try to fill the fights the much i can but the priority will be Cooldowns
Came back to WoW and this was my favorite addon for raiding! Thanks so much for keeping it updated, I appreciate your hard work :)
hi all, glad your liking dxe, will do some more updates especially on Mythic that i got there now
yes i will update for Blackrock Foundry but at first will only be Cooldowns, stand in fire stuff alerts and few more because i want to do stuff at stages like i said a few comments back duo to lack of time
as for donation that is set here on wowace isn't going to me but for one of the original Authors and i'm just considered a Maintainer and can't change that. As of providing a way to me on the Description don't know if wowace allows it
Just did a couple full clears of both heroic and mythic and Im so glad to have DXE back. If this is maintained for Blackrock Foundry I will gladly donate.
Where do I donate?
This is hands down the best addon I've ever used.
I'm ecstatic it's back.
So glad DXE is back. Looking forward to every update. Thanks so much.
well guys here it is the update for 6.0.3, it has Highmaul, Party module and World boss module (both still needs testing)
about next raid...i asked around for about what is that players love in DXE and if they use another bossmod along with it, the general response was the customization on Cooldowns (audio cds more), customization on standing in shit alerts, arrows and boss health tracking. About bossmods almost all said yes because of my slow updates.
so my idea is to release next raid (and future ones) in stages:
1. for release day: have all CDs on all bosses, standing in shit alerts and boss health tracking and try to do all important message alert (debuff on player) <- for other stuff players will use another bossmod
2. after release day (no ETA): arrows, incoming alerts, Debuff alerts
3. later: do advanced stuff that boss require and hopelly players doesn't need to use 2 bossmods (especially for mythic)
This is because A) my limited time, B) on the first week/two alot of the Cooldowns have to be changed and some events from Beta changes in Live (like happen in alot of bosses in Highmaul)
so what is you opinion about this and what is the feature that you love the most in DXE to be put in stage 1 (if not there already)
hope you like it and sorry if you see some debug messages or erros, tried to remove them all
@Maev81
Would be great to see it come back I got used to my screen flashes instead of watching timer bars. I cannot imagine how much time something like this takes.
Thx in advance whatever you can do
Hi all,
i come back and will try to bring a update the soon as possible, alot to fix from what i seen of the changes in wow but only when raids is available i will be able to test it properly
also will try to bring dxe to 5man but is really to tight to raids, will see what i can without creating more bugs
but all depends of my time
@Maev81
Is there any update on this being updated? Favourite boss mod by a long way. Would love to see it running again.
Here's hoping
I really hope this will be continued! Set as abandoned now :( I can't stand DBM, so ugly, so little customisation! One thing I missed from the newer DXE is the faster moving top to center anchored bars. They were faster before.
Anyways, will it be updated for 6.0 Mists, or atleast WoD?
i've stopped playing, guild and everyone i know stopped so...
i dont know if DXE still works in latest patch, if it does timers were good, some better than others but generally good
as for the next expansion i probably will play it and update DXE for it
Hello
Ive used DXE ages ago and would like to use it again. At its current status is it usable for raids, i mean are the timers etc are acurate or still a bit "alpha"?
thx ;)
