DHUD3

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

DHUD3

DHUD3 is a modular Heads Up Display Addon.

Core Module

Core functionality on which the other modules build up. Lets you set DHUD3 general settings (scale, situation alpha, font, etc). (More info)

Player Module

Bars to show Player and Target Health/Power information, and Target and Target of Target name plates. (More info)

Auras Module

Show player buffs and/or weapon enchants close to expiring. (More info)

Abilities Module

Show/track abilities specific to your class applied to your target (DoTs, HoTs, etc), or Death Knight runes.(More info)

Pet Module

Bars to display Pet's Health/Power information. You can also use them to show Vehicle/Player information when in a vehicle and/or to show druid mana while shape shifted. (More info)

Outer Module

Bars to display Focus' or Target of Target's Health/Power, and/or Threat information. (More info)

Cast Module

Bars to display PLayer and Target cast. The bars overlap with the Player Module. (More info)

TO DO

Add more tracking posibilities to the Abilities Module.
Bar's text and Name Plates "click through"
Movable bars, or at least the options to increase the horizontal distance form the center (This one I am still thinking about)

Known Issues

Focusing using drop down menu is now a protected function. Using the focus option in DHUD3 drop-down menus will generate an error.

I get this error as well. Are you sure you have turned on Lua errors in your game settings?

WARNING! In v0.3b and above there was a change in one of the componentes of the database structure, I recomend you deleting the DHUD3 saved variables files if you experience dificulties with some configuration options.

Hello, Nice Hud. Will it be possible to define the space between the two sides ? And, another question: is it possible, perhaps using dogtags, to specify the font used ? Thx

When i open the world map i get the following error:

Hello,

Thanks for trying the beta version. Waht version are you using? I dont get that error and the code lines pointed out dosen't seem to give me a clue. Can you try deleting the saved variable's file? It might have gotten corrupted.

That was in 0.2.7b (which is the latest at the time of writing the post...). I have not used previous versions of DHUD3, so it messed up the variables all by itself. I will try 0.3 and see if that is better.

Just to leave a short comment, to thank you for your wonderful work.
I'm still using DHUD2 because there are some feature that I miss. But I'll be checking DHUD3 updates and eventually move to this "version".

Also, support for vehicle combo points is in my ToDo list! I hope releases will come sooner, but this new version and bug fixinf is tacking longer than expected!

Abilities module is here!! Death Knight rune support comes with it!!! Still missing Shaman's Totems and any other class specific HoTs, DoTs, curses, etc., you may want to track, but I NEED ideas!!! (I don't play all the classes XD).

Lots of bugs fixed on v0.2.5b. I still have an issue with power bars not tracking druid shape shift some times, and for some reason DogTags are sometimes generating an error. I am looking into it.

On death and spirit release I get errors - any debugging tools you'd recommend so I can cut and paste the error text to curse?

Hello, first off all thanks for trying DHUD3 out.

I use personally use swatter, which I think is part of Auctioneer, but I've had it for so long I really can remember where I got it. I think there is another one called Bugsac.

I will start looking at the bugs you pointed ASAP. I would also appreciate it if you could open tickets for bugs at , which makes it easier on me to track and remember ;).
