DrDamage
Update 05/24/2013
DrDamage is currently being developed for 5.x. Only monks (of any spec) are not supported. All classes which existed prior to Mists are supported.
Current state: Check the http://www.wowace.com/addons/dr-damage/pages/known-issues Page before providing feedback!
DrDamage displays the calculated damage or healing of abilities with talents, gear and buffs included on your actionbar buttons. The addon also adds various statistics to the tooltips in your spellbook and on the actionbar.
Slash Commands:
/drd or /drdmg or /drdamage

Functionality:
- Supports all classes
- Actionbar addons supported: Default, Bartender 4, CT_BarMod, Dominos, elvUI, Macaroon, Nurfed AB, IPopBar, nUI, ReAction Bars and RDX.
- Places text with the metric of your choosing on the actionbar buttons.
- Damage and healing statistics are placed into your tooltips. This includes for example critical hit chance, spell damage and damage coefficients, averages, DPS, DPSC (damage per seconds cast), damage until OOM and more!
- Your own buffs and your target's debuffs are taken into account.
- Allows manual modification of the essential talents, buffs and character stats used to calculate. For example you can test how much increasing your spellpower by 100 would increase your damage or healing output.
- If you're overwhelmed by the amount of statistics presented, you can use the options reduce the amount to whatever you feel is important!

@ ramsbo
Alright. Does combustion have a number beside the buff indicating how many there's left? So, when you activate it does the buff has '3 charges' or something ? This would allow me to calculate the current crit boost.
You can try (only combustion activated so it's in buff slot number 1) /print UnitBuff( "player", 1 )
And paste the results to me.. One of the returns should be the amount of charges/applications so if you use it once or twice, print the new information and see if the numbers change.
It adds 10% crit chance every time the mob is damaged with a fire attack, untill you have done 3 crits. So u can have the buff for the rest of the day until you have 3 crits.
@ ramsbo
Well, efficient +dam only calculates the +dam and its coefficient on the spell. It doesn't take into account the final modifier, and this is intended. But perhaps the value would indeed be more interesting with the final modifier taken into account. I will think about changing it.
I've got a question about combustion. Does the crit % update in the character screen fire school? Then it should work fine, otherwise I need some way of determining how many times the effect has been applied.
About Molten Fury.. I've been thinking of adding it but it's a bit annoying because then I'd have to monitor constantly the target's health (which changes often and thus requires frequent checks). It would be less demanding to add it without specific updates when target's health changes but when another thing triggers an update like debuffs changing.. But then again the functionality would be a bit erratic when buffs/debuffs don't change often. I'll have to think about it.
Hi gagorian, thx for ur reply.
Regarding combustion, i just checked and it does not show an incease in the character sheet.
Sorry to add more.
Or even to add crit chance on the Action bars.
Also the action bar doesnt takeinto account Molten Fury, Increased dam when they have less than 20% health by 20%.
Thx Andrew
Hi, very nice mob btw, i have quickly stoppe using Theorycraft.
Just a miner detail regarding my mage damage on the tooltip.
With Fire i get +10% more damage (Fire Power talent) however in the +Dam Eff it displays the same damage + dam i get with my other spells (frost, arcane). However the under Av damage it does display correctly. Im not sure if ther is anything u can do as even my +dam on my char sheet shows fire having the same damage.
Thx Andrew
Ps also anyway to show +crit chance increase through such talents like Comustion.
@ Schlicht
I think I've figured it out. The problem is that in BabbleSpell there are the following deDE translations:
["Revenge"] = "Rache", ["Vengeance"] = "Rache",
Because Revenge is first, it will translate your talent to Revenge which isn't a talent that DrDamage recognizes (obviously). I will think of a solution to this.. (either through some translation trick or then just make another copy of Vengeance with the name Revenge). You can just copy the Vengeance talent to another line and name it Revenge for the time being in Druid.lua.
@Gagorian
No it works fine!
Thank you Gagorian
@ Schlicht
It's most likely only in the German client. What's the exact name for the talent in German?
@Gagorian
In German Client is called "Rache". (I looked in Babble-Spell-2.2.lua but it is correct termed there)
Hi Gagorian!
I think there is a Bug for Druids with Vengeance (Maybe only German Client). The Tooltip show for AvgCrit only 50% of the CritDmg not 100%.
P.S. I try to find the bug for myself, but i can´t locate it.
Thank you Gagorian
@ flameboy6184
That sounds strange. I can't see any reason for it. What actionbar addon are you using? (even so, tooltip should be visible)
v. 1.0.9
Haven't updated to 1.0.9 yet, but before the update I noticed that Max Rank shadow word: pain didn't have any damage text applied to the button or tooltip, whereas every other spell did. Any word on this issue?
v. 1.0.8
@ Korrigan
I did some math.. With a +100% crit modifier the equivalence of dam in terms compared to 1% crit only slightly increases when the final modifier of a spell increases (CoE, Scorch etc).
On my fictional spell I got the following equivalences with a few factors:
x1.133 modifier: 1% crit = 12.157 dam x1.433 modifier: 1% crit = 12.22 dam x2.00 modifier: 1% crit = 12.30 dam
Which is not close to the percentual increase TC gives. With below 100% crit multipliers the increase is even smaller.
Applying debuffs doesn't seem to percentually increase the effect of crit compared to damage as much as TC predicts.
can u add the option to see how much +spell damage or +heal i gained? like if i use greater heal how much +heal i really get if my gear have +1000 for healing
@ Luskun:
If I understood your request correctly there's already such an option available to turn on efficient +heal.
@ Zexi:
Can you be more specific? Is it not applying? Does it give an error? (if so please provide the message) Does it give too much bonus or too low?
