Well thanks anyway for the quick fix! I checked the options but i have no need for changing the patterns.

Nice coloring too but i'll leave it at the Elkfactions settings cause i've totally outgrown the FactionsFu coloring :-)

Never noticed i can turn on tooltip hints, never needed them either but a good setting for those who start using this. I'm btw using this with Bazooka, i like all my little utility addons such as this one :-)

Next question :-)
There is a + sign at some factions. What does it stand for?

I know :-) It's the factions that you can mark for extra reputation.

Okay playing on an alt now that doesn't have npc's like Chee Chee, Ella, Farmer Fung etc rep and i noticed that those factions still don't show gained rep. Tillers however do ;-)

I am using this and i noticed today that it doesn't display the amount of reputation gained any more during a session without error messages. I actually quite miss it now.

I have updated this for 5.04, very few changes to make it a little nicer and I switched back to the old colour pattern simply because it was what I was use to. 

Not sure other people still use this or not but I am happy to give the code to Elkano if you want it. (although I'm sure you are more than capable of doing the same changes)

Nice to see that the addon was updated for MoP.

But there is still a problem I have since a long time: I use Bazooka for the bars, ElkFactions is well displayed. When I mouse over, it displays correctly the factions list. But I was never able to click on "+" or "-" to extend or fold up the reputation headers (like "Burning Crusade", "Shattrath", "Classic", etc...) To do that, I have to go to the reputation tab on my character sheet.

I don't know if this functionnality is implemented and not working or not implemented at all, but I would really love to have it :)

apparently the newest available version hasn't been uploaded yet.
therefore go to http://www.wowace.com/addons/elkfactions/files/

it fixes the spam and the minimap icon in case you didn't do it yourself.
you can also set the preferred release type in your curse client to alpha to get the newest version :)

If you enable download of Alpha version in the curse client, you can see the update. Works good so far!
