FlagRSP2

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

FlagRSP2 is an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allows players to add additional information about their characters into the game. It is designed to support role players and allow others with MSP compatible AddOns to easily see if the character is a role player or is even in character. Characters can be fleshed out with additional names, titles, and detailed descriptions.

FlagRSP2 is a continuation of flagRSP 0.5.6 by Flokru. FlagRSP2 is a completely new code base designed to be more efficient and play well with other AddOns. As of 2.5, FlagRSP2 uses the new Mary Sue Protocol to communicate, and no longer uses chat channels.

If your FlagRSP2 copy is OLDER than 1.5.x you should delete the FlagRSP2 directory first!(The Curse Client will do this for you if you use that.) Copy the "flagRSP2" folder into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Before selecting your character and entering the game other MSP RP AddOns such as MyRolePlay must be disabled to prevent conflicts.

Just logged in, running 2.4.3, and still getting this upon initialization. Unless you mean it's fixed for the next release, if so, then apologies for wasting your time. Thanks again and your work is appreciated greatly.

Ok - no response to the bug on wowace for 5 days and a comment that says "this is already fixed" - I'm running the latest version and still getting the error...what did you mean?

I can't seem to change my profile at all. I'll go in and say, delete a sentence or two and then click ok. I go back to my profile and it's as if nothing changed. Anyway to fix this?

You have to click on the new Accept button right under the edit box. The Okay button is for the whole interface menu for RSP.

Is it possible to get a feature from (i think) 1.5.2 version back? basicly it allowed you to have two tooltips, the Default WoW Tooltip then above that was the RSP description tooltip, keeping both seperate so you could see players default Titles such as Starcaller, Champion of the Frozen wastes etc..

updated add-ons including flagrsp and it seems to have wiped my descriptions etc, i just got blank profiles :(

Don't the older FlagRSPs work anymore? I liked the looks and interface on them much better. Not that the new one is bad, it's pretty cool, but I prefer the ones that was before this :)

I am not sure what caused this. I play alliance and my friend plays horde, we can see other peoples (both horde and alliance) rsp's fine, but we are not able to see each others. We have both purged, reloaded, deleted and reinstalled with no improvement. Is there anything you can suggest that might help?

Could you please consider removing the transparentcy on the tooltips? Whether we use the colours included with the addon or the default colours, the transparent tooltips makes it very, very difficult to read when you hover over certain items and we cannot disable or increase opacity for tooltips.
The update looks great, but the tooltips are just not a great thing as we have to strain to read tooltips now.

I think the new graphics engine is interpreting the values I set differently. I can look into it soon.

Yeah I had to disable it again cus if this it was that annoying. :( It would be nice to have an option/button to click to have the original or flagrsp version.
