GatherMate2
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
GatherMate2_Data
GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for Shadowlands, and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.
If you are looking for a pre-filled database for GatherMate2, get GatherMate2_Data here:

Entering darkmoonfaire It shows LibMapData-1.0 is missing data for 823
Blackbelly Mudfish, Deepsea Sagefish, Fathom Eel, Highland Guppy, Mountain Trout, Raw Greater Sagefish, Raw Sagefish. Those fishes' icon didn't update. I make the .tga files for them. Link Removed: http://www.mediafire.com/?zl1nup28uc4kf4e

Please i have a problem :s
Archeology nodes dont appear on map.
I reinstall and import the last Archeologydata.lua from Gathermate2 menu and activate all archeology nodes, I disable all archeology addon....but nothing.
Thats works for mining, herba.... not for archeo...
Whats is the problem :s
Add the ability to change the color when an items exists. For example I see the red circle for mining and when there is an item to mine the yellow is real hard to see in snow. I would like to change it to another color when I am in winterspring.
Im not sure whatsup with this, but why in hyjal when i talk to an npc the node icons move as i move on the minimap?
however turning tracking on or off fixes it after doing so...guessing its a bug? cause its after i complete or accept a quest. the icons/circles follow me where i go rather than stay still
For version 1.16.2, the minimap doesnt show the nodes even having the option active on configuration...
Yeah, I am having the same issue with stuff not showing up on the minimap even if I disable the MMB.
Darkmoon Island Shipwreck Debris not tracking.
thank you
So I was trying to look for the camel figurines today, and the spawn locations no longer show up on map. Can you tell me what happened? The addons are both up to date, they are imported and I have camel figurines checked and tracking.
Is there a way to use this for mob spawnpoints?
Using version 1.16.2 (19 feb 2012) and don't add "vein's" of mining, in herbalism is all ok
Gathermate 2 not showing nodes on the World Map even though it is checkmarked under optional preferences.
If you want to fix Gathermate 2 to track Deepsea Sagefish in Twilight Highlands, you will need to modify the Constants.lua file. Line 70 (pool ID 150) should be changed to
[NL["Deepsea Sagefish School"]] = 150,
If you want to change the image that shows on the map, you will need to change line 378.
When Cataclysm came out, most of the Azeroth maps shifted a wee bit. This caused Gathermate2's data to be off. Easy fix: delete the GatherMate2.lua file in your WTF/<account name>/Saved variables/ folder. Download the GatherMate2 Data mod and import the info.
Hard fix would be to manually delete any erroneous nodes on your map and rebuild from scratch.
I am in the middle of the Northern Barrens and on my mini-map it indicates there are schools of sage fish, but when I go over to the nodes there is clearly nothing there and no water nearby at all. How do I fix this? It happens in other areas also.
I opened a ticket concerning a few issues i found with Gathermate2 can you please comment it and/or correct me.
There is a bug in the Hillsbard Foothills. It thinks its the frozen herbs from Wintergrasp I believe? So it says that it is level 425 to collect them, but really it's only 120.
