GatherMate2
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
GatherMate2_Data
GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for Shadowlands, and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.
If you are looking for a pre-filled database for GatherMate2, get GatherMate2_Data here:

Hi there! With regards to avamacbeth's problem, I have the same one as well. Every mining node showed up perfectly on the other parts of Pandaria except the Jade Forest. Tried tweaking the options and disabling other addons, couldn't find a solution at all.
Hi, For some reason, my boyfriend's and my gathermate's are being a little screwwy. It's not showing us any mineral deposits in the jade forest.
I'm not sure this is the same problem, but I do see the Blizzard yellow dots, however, I'm not getting circle on the mini map nor the little resource icons in the world map. I've checked over my display setting in the addon as well as track settings and even tried different settings on both. Nothing.
Thoughts?
Adirelle not to bad assuming you mean a push into like the treasure database or something?
IF you are not seeing the gold dots show up on your minimap double check your tracking. the yellow dots are 100% blizzard controlled and only show up if your are tracking that resource. if you see green/red/brown/etc circles on your minimap, the data was loaded and showing you possible node locations.
All the nodes disappeared from my minimap. Import doesn't do anything. Tried uninstalling and updating and no luck :(
I am having the same trouble. I wonder what is going on...
Same thing. I get the green circle but the yellow dots are no longer showing up. I also deleted everything that has to do with the addon and still same problem
Same here. No matter what I do, reinstalling from scratch (deleting all SavedVariables data too, and deleting all map-related addons just to be sure), old versions of gathermate2_data, alpha versions of gathermate2_data, etc, absolutely no nodes show up any longer for me, even freshly-gathered ones. I used to have no issues at all. I give up. Time to try Gatherer again.
Hello,
Would it be difficult to add a new database type to gathermate2 with a third-party addon, e.g. rare spawns ?
I have a problem with Gathermate2 losing spawn points. For example, in the Gnome starting area, many of the herb spots are missing from Gathermate2. I can go and pick them, they will be marked, but I come back weeks later and there are no herbs marked. It happens in every zone. Zangarmarsh, south edge, by the cave, there are 3 herbs right next to each other. Every week or so one or more will vanish.
I have reinstalled. Any ideas on what it going on?
@Visot
No AddOn can determine if a node is active. Blizzard has never allowed that to happen. The only way to tell if you can mine, herb, fish, etc a node is to physically go to it.
GatherMate2 is 100% accurate about where a node is; it just can't tell you if the node is actually available.
Please, add Ancient Guo-Lai Cache

I can't get the nodes to show up on my minimap. The 'show on minimap' option is checked, in fact I can't uncheck it. I've also tried binding the show on minimap toggle to no avail. The nodes are shown on my world map and while using Archeology Helper the archeology nodes show up in the HUD. The only addon I can think of interfering is SexyMap, but I've tried disabling it and they still wouldn't show.

why is gathermate2 inaccurate? saying it's accurate one forth of the time is very generous. is no one else getting the same issue? i go to 4 or 6 veins of tin and nothing is there. is this not inaccurate or other players beating me to the punch? i don't get it. could someone please tell me or clue me in :((((((((((
great addon what does dependency missing mean and how can I fix it thanks
