GatherMate2
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
GatherMate2_Data
GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for Shadowlands, and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.
If you are looking for a pre-filled database for GatherMate2, get GatherMate2_Data here:

Is there anybody looking at the tickets? It's been a month since I submitted one, and no answer yet...
Apart from my ticket, I wanted to signal another thing: the tracking circles move when you move, then get back to their place, when you are in an instance (Darkmoon wreckage around Darkmoon island, for example). I didn't see anybody complaining about it, am I the only one affected ?
Where is the actual data (nodes, etc) stored by the addon? I've reinstalled WoW on my PC after a SSD failure. I have a vhd copy of the hard drive so I can easily copy the files over - just don't know where they are.
I copyed the folder for my character over from the WTF folder, but no nodes show up in the areas I know I've farmed before the crash.
you should try GatherMate_Data. It gets you info from the internet. Pretty much all nodes ingame.
i can only guess carobnite is messing with the minimap
I've recently started using this addon. The red circles denoting previously found notes is so faint I could fly right by and never see the node circles. Changing the alpha or icon size does nothing for me. BInding keys to toggle icons also does nothing. On my main map there are not any icons at all. Not sure what needs to be set but this doesn't seem to be woking well at least very well. I use Carbonite for my mini-map.
idk why but theres like these huge nodes on the minimap but i was wondering how to fix that and it wont go away any help?
node keeps following me on minimap, only goes away when I turn off the addon. Re installed addon did nothing, as did importing and reseting. Logging did nothing either.
@Hellreiser
You are doing nothing wrong. The issue is because not enough people are using both WoWHead's Client and/or Curse's solution to upload data. Further, not enough people are doing Archaeology in the first place. The Curse solution only works in Windows because it requires the v5 Client.
@Bluekupo
I'm also having the same issue as Bluekupo here. I've done all the same things that they have done but no joy on MoP archaeology pins/nodes.
Hello!
Sorry in advance if I've missed this in a FAQ, I've googled for an hour or two and I've come up short...
Problem
No archaeology nodes/pins in MoP zones.
what I've tired so far
I've installed, reinstalled, and re-reinstalled (via curse client) gathermate2 and gathermate2 data. I've double checked the install directory (avoiding folder in folder problem) Fired up wow, /gathermate - import - import button (ticked archaeology) and tried a few combinations of tick boxes and merge/overwrite. Message received "GatherMate2Data has been imported."
However
I now have the complete collection of all the CATA/WOTLK archaeology pins/nodes on my maps... Yet not one single node/pin/dig/whatever has appeared on my map for the MoP zones. When I dig "old school" the digsite that I find on my own is generated on the map/added to data. I've been fussing around with options for a while now and begging for help is my last resort.
TLDR
Archaeology data for MoP zones no worky.
Thanks in advance- Blue
how do i remove hud?
For some reason the nodes are blinking on my minimap, they don't do that on my stepsons.
Its a bit annoying, anyway to turn that off?
@ Giorsoine in regards to flashing Icons... if you are using Carbonite you need to change node glow delay to 0 rather than any other number this is one of the options in Map or Mini-map in the Carbonite setup. This should stop it
Can we get Kafa'kota Bush added to the list of herbs that can be filtered in Kun Lai Summit?
Please add those to the filter list cause farming snow lily is hard to do with massive quest bushes everywhere
Agree, this is a great add on I love it. I do really hate the kafa'kota bushes - it would be great if they could be added to the filter list.
I have found a little bug, I tried to go to the wowace.com link in the faq, but I could not find the specified topic, the link does not work either.
I love that we have a key to show/hide the icons on the world map now, but it would be nice if the key actually worked while the world map is open, right now you have to close the world map, press the key and open the map again to hide or show them.

I like the addon so far, switched over from gatherer. But I can't make it show world map icons. I've double checked all the options, it's supposed to be showing it but no matter what I do, change icon size, check or uncheck the option to show it, no dice. Any suggestions, or is it a known bug?
Gathermate 2 gave me a LUA conflict error when attempting to dismiss my pet. Since when did gathermate have anything to do with the pet frame UI?
