Data extract for GatherMate2
How to install the data:
- 1.) install GatherMate2_Data
- 2.) Once in game, open gathermate (/gathermate)
- 3.) Select the Import section
- 4.) select the data you want and click import.
- 5.) Profit
State in The War Within & Midnight
GatherMate2_Data and the background tools have been updated for The War Within and prepared for Midnight, and data for Herbs, Mining and Timber locations is already available in the latest update. We'll keep updating the database as more information is uploaded to Wowhead!

Posted Oct 11, 2011Anyone whos having trouble importing the data file. MAKE SURE you put the "GatherMate2_Data" file in your addons folder otherwise the import section on gathermate will be blank and you cant click anything. Hope this helps some people who had the same problem.

Posted Oct 2, 2011Something I've noticed, especially in Northrend, is that the treasure import doesn't include any of the Maplewood Treasure Chests.

This is meant to be a raw database based on user submissions to Wowhead. Cleanup is meant to be done by Gathermate2, based on individual user preferences. I'm glad it is left alone, so I can decide how the data is displayed.

Posted Sep 5, 2011You intentionally dont clean up the database? There are some cramped points, like the digging sites in Feralas/Ruins of Isildien(60,55).

Posted Jul 17, 2011Museraen: This is only the database for GatherMate_2. It has nothing to do with icons, or placement of nodes that you discover. Those issues should be discussed at the GatherMate_2 page.

Posted Jul 16, 2011Hello, just wanted to let you know that at 10:00am est I took a break from gathering motes of air from windy clouds in Nagrand and when I resumed again at 11:30am est the icons that were being left behind were those of steam clouds instead of the windy cloud icon it had been leaving on the map. Not a real big deal but it makes for an uneven look and I don't want to clear all the windy cloud icons I have on the map and start anew. Thanks.

Posted Jul 9, 2011I am in Zangarmarsh extracting motes of water from swamp gas clouds and when I checked my world map I found that the addon is not leaving an icon where I extracted the mote at. I have the latest version installed. I haven't been in this zone for a while and so far it is the only zone that I know doing this. Thanks.

Posted Jun 9, 2011I'm pretty sure I have the add on tuned corrected and downloaded installed/updated etc. It's just not showing camel figurines. doesn't matter whether I merge data or not, nothing.
