GatherMate

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Collects Herbs, Mines, Gas Clouds and Fishing locations and adds them to the worldmap and minimap.

Please note this has been replaced with GatherMate2 for Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.

No. It will however use the data from WoWhead http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/gathermate_data.aspx and show you the location of nearly every node in the game.

i am having an issue with Gathermate latest version,i wiped the lua's and the file and reinstalled but the circles on minimap are glowing so much can't see the yellow dot in the center to say whether there is a mine there or not the herbs seem ok but the red in the mining is really glowy, is there anyway for me to fix this? I am using Cartographer 2 and cartographer quest info, The icons also are also looking choppy. I also have professions turned off in Cart also. When i was using mapster i didn't have that problem but like the options of Cartographer better. I would appreciate any help thank u for ur time with this

Is this a good one to use to find motes? I tried looking at gatherer, but couldn't find out if it works on motes.

Motes are not static, they are random from creatures or gathering.

"Hi, I'm having an issue when I click on Database Maintenance my WoW client is hanging. I did a database cleanup before and had no issues but I can't click on that menu otherwise I have to close WoW and restart WoW. Thanks!"

I forgot about this issue and it happened again last night. Is there a fix for this yet? Thanks.

strange you do not have minimap icon? Else I tested /gathermate pop the same GUI so from here then (I dont know if thats the correct translation im in french) go in data import, select GatherMateData and then from here setup the import as you want , which profesion to import, which extension, select auto update and then finally click the Import button, then all should be imported fine

wtf you can guys have wowhead db, just look for GatherMate_Data and once installed go in GatherMate_Data and setup & click the import button from here, you can also check autoupdate so your datas are updated once a new db is released. Everything is listed fine here and I have a frFR client.

At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot, how do we "go in GatherMate_Data and setup" to be able to "click the import button from here"? I installed all the GatherMate addons, including GatherMate_Data, but I can't find any sort of buttons anywhere that are related to it in any way.

You sir, are a tool. Had you even taken a moment to look you would not only have known exactly what the addon does, you might have also figured out that there is another addon that works with this one to import all known nodes, which I assume is what you wanted. If that is not the desired result, you simply type, "I would really like to see it do this..." rather than "BOO 0 rating"
