GnomeWorks TradeSkill Frame -
a complete replacement for the blizzard trade skill frame.
No problem, hope that helps you track it down some.
For the Auction interface, if you're not adverse to snagging ideas from other addons, you may want to look at AuctionLite if you haven't. The way AL handles the buying issue is to let you select (with standard list selection functions like Ctrl+Click for additional, or Shift-Click for a range) then has you hit a Buyout button. (Alternately, you tell it how many you want and it auto-selects the cheapest options.) Once that's done, it pops up an "Approve" button with a listing of the cost and the quantity of the stack to one side, and clicking approve buys the listing. I'm not sure how it manages separate pages, but I'm sure it's being done.
The selection scheme allows it to be straightforward and informative without being too dangerous in terms of buying accidentally.
The one from 4 days ago? If there is a newer one I don't see it. I will reinstall that one from 4 days ago, and try again. Will get back to you if still not working.
paks, i'll try to duplicate your enchanting experience. there are a few delays in the gw process stream and it sounds like maybe they explode if the gw/tradeskill frame closes before they fire...
doo, the skill level indicates an estimation of how many skill levels you'll gain from executing your currently queued recipes. so 483(460) means that you are currently at 460, but would be at 483 (roughly) by the time you're done crafting.
the missing reagent stuff certainly needs to be listed in the shopping list. and yeah, the ah scanner is designed to be really easy to use for purchasing mats. this means it's really easy to buy the wrong stuff. i want to add some intelligence to have it warn you when you're buying something at an excessive price, but i don't want to make mass purchases too cumbersome.
user_30959, the latest revisions have changed the inventory tracking. i had realized the craftability calculations were drastically flawed in previous revisions. the current system is accurate, but it costs some cycles. i'm trying to get those cycles down. how many alts do you have and how full are your bags/bank/etc?
manaman, do you have the latest lsw? if you don't, gw will not load lsw to prevent errors.
Followup, I've been doing some testing on the Enchanting Window issue.
1. It's NOT a memory leak. Broker_CPU showed memory dead steady stable while the client locked hard over about 30 seconds. However, CPU Profiling shows a seriously increased CPU usage. Watching it on Broker_CPU with CPU profiling enabled causes the addon to appear about a third of the way into the event and rapidly climb the ladder.
2. It IS GnomeWorks by itself. With that as the only addon enabled, I can make it happen first time every time. From looking at Addon Profiler with External Libs installed for GW and only GW and AP running, it's a function that's calling out to Ace3.
3. In my case, the problem only manifests after a rapid opening/closing of GnomeWorks for Enchanting. Leaving Enchanting open for more than a few seconds causes the problem to not manifest. (Longest I waited was 5 minutes after leaving the addon open on Enchanting for about 30-40 seconds.) Trying a rapid open-close of Tailoring results in a couple of rapid CPU Usage spikes, then a return to normal.
I managed to get a screenshot in before things locked up completely on me while using Addon Profiler, linked below:
The latest revisions have had negative impact on the performance. The queuing is slow, crafting sequence is slow, the computer works harder with Gnomeworks active, it consume more then 22 MB ram in WoW.
This wasn't the case in rev 80-90, something have happened 90+.
Hi sparky, awesome addon and I'm glad you stuck with it after the last couple of days you've been having :p
Just installed r97 and have noticed a few things; no response to clicking go in the profit plugin, skill level bar shows as 483(460)/535, not sure what the (460) indicates and I assume that the light blue part to the bar indicates my racial increase, and missing reagent: jeweller's setting is showing in top list instead of bottom list and, lastly, instructions to using the scan ah function in the window would be useful... I just went and bought things without meaning too! ;p
Just an FYI for you LS. I opened my Enchanting window accidentally, closed it right away, and my client has locked up. Took maybe 30 seconds to get to totally unusable and unresponsive.
Didn't click anything, just toggled via the keybind for the bar slot I have it in.
EDIT: Sorry, forgot version. It's r97, I just updated it 15 minutes ago.
Hello. I'm just getting started with this addon and love it. I do have a question though. How do I link my skill in guild or trade chat? Or to a whisper? Maybe I'm missing it, can you help me out? Thanks!
EDIT: Just to clarify, I meant my whole skill book, not just one recipie.
The only thing I'm currently missing is Overachiever functionality - it adds small icon next to the cooking recipes which are required to complete the cooking achievements:
Would it be possible to move the Skill Level to after the name / profession that way you can actually see your bar. When you are about midway through you can't see it the estimated skill / what you are due to the numbers.
the combat issues should be happier, tho i suppose if you happen to be using pseudotrades it could still act up.
i fixed the inventory column problem also.
i added a new plugin that works pretty much like ktq, tho i haven't fully tested it (not sure it recognizes inventory properly). it uses lsw prices to determine profitability and allows some pretty simple tests for which items to queue:
at least x% profit margin,
at least x actual profit in gold,
at least x value in gold, (this might be redundant)
at most x cost in gold
it doesn't obey any kind of recipe list, it just looks at everything you can craft and queues recipes that fit.
phreak, hit the "clear queue" button or even delete your saved vars file. i'm thinking maybe you have some corrupt data somewhere (like if you used many revs ago and just now tried it again).
oukami, i generally run with addonloader enabled which affects the loading of gw. i'll try turning it off to see if i can get that freeze you mention.
azroliak. of course. duh. i forgot to bump up the All Recipes list to be 450/450. it's an arbitrary number, but it probably seems weird to see. the skill up numbers are mined directly from the client, so i believe they're accurate, but i'll check to make sure. (edit: i think my numbers are right. i actually wrote my miner because the wowhead numbers are not always correct. there are a number of recipes that wowhead indicates are green to start with and yet also show a multiple skill up number of 5. but green recipes don't provide multiple skill ups, so i'm thinking their data is either from beta or just plain wrong.)
Just wondering if anyone is having an issue with GW hanging up WoW upon login. As soon as I get past the login screen and can see my playable UI the game seems to hang with GnomeWorks r96 list as the last addon loaded at that time. After about 15-20 seconds the game unfreezes and plays normally. After disabling GW and logging in the freeze does not appear to happen. I'm not sure if this is a problem between GW and another mod, but I wanted to test the waters here t see if anyone else was having this issue before messing with allmy addons. Thanks.

Hope this helps some.
How do we get the LSW information to show again? It used to display as sortable columns, now I am not seeing the information at all?

shift-click on the tradeskill icon you wish to link and gw should output a trade link. note you can link your own trade skills or even your alts.
i should have a tooltip explaining this since it's probably not totally obvious.

fostot, maybe i could justify left/right depending on the skill level to make room for the bar.
zarevak, it's on the to-do list.
Thank you for such great addon!

oukami, do you use addonloader?

Hello lilsparky.
Love this addon, but have been getting some trouble with the queueing.
