Mylune's Champions
Don't underestimate your little critters!
Mylune's Champions will add some more personality to your companions, mounts, and combat pets by adding auto-emotes as reactions on other emotes or on events such as low health of their master. In addition, it adds chat commands to easily create manual emotes for your companions (/ce), mounts (/mte), and combat pets (/pe).
Examples:
- You are at low health: "Nyyr's companion Mr. Chilly tries to save its master. Rwarrr!"
- You cheer at your companion: "Nyyr's companion Mr. Chilly is excited and squeaks."
Create your own companion personality!
There is an in-game editor which allows you to easily personalise existing personalities or to create completely new ones. Play around!
Multilanguage Support!
Personalities are currently available in English (enUS) and German (deDE). If you are interested in maintaining personalities for another language, send me a PM!
Mylune needs you!

I still use this fun addon and it functions still, but I cannot get into the GUI editor; it's just not showing up in the Interface addon list.
I know it functions, because the command line options still work (I think, I do get a result), and occasionally my pets do fun emotions and say fun stuff, but I'd like to add some extras, but since the editor is not accessible, I wonder if there's an update planned?
Is this still functional?
Partly, the GUI interface is not accessible, but the default set still works.
I really hope the addon gets updated, since it's AWESOME. :)
(It is really fun to see some things your pets say or do when you are questing, grinding or farming or something.)
Is it possible at all to change the compaion part? For example right now it will say "Zulrick's companion runs around" is it possible at all to change companion to something else say "Zulrick's cub runs around" instead?
I really like this addon (and I've messed with it some, adding/editing emotes for my frequent pets), but I've seen my mount preform emotes and I'd prefer it not to on some characters versus others (or only emote on some mounts). Is there a chance you can have the option to turn it off/on?
Is this addon still being developed/updated?
It's broken with WoD and it'd be great to have it back! Miss my little critters having some life to them.
The critters are back and ready to face the warlords! Enjoy!
So, this isn't showing up anywhere. I've tried reinstalling it, and it still isn't showing up. I thought that maybe it was out of date, but it doesn't say it is. It's not even showing up in the interface addons tab.
Does it appear in the Addons-List from your Character Selection Screen? If not, it is not installed correctly (i.e., you should check directories again).
It does show up in the addons in character selection. I install all of my addons through the curse client and they all work fine, but for some reason this one doesn't want to.
Then it's probably a conflict with another chat addon. Try to isolate the conflicting addon by disabling all an re-enable them one by one. Also enable showing Lua errors. Let me know if you find something.
I still got nothing. I don't know, I tried disabling everything and still got nothing.
Hard to track w/o any error messages. Have you enabled Lua Errors? Try to install BugSack to catch errors that occurr while loading screen.
This addon is exactly what I was looking for, works great!
I noticed there was no reactions to /pat or /pet, which seems like would be most frequently used emotes towards your pet. I was able to go through the files and add in them myself, but thought might mention it for future releases.
Would it also be possible to get an "Add current companion" like the one for combat pets to the vanity pet tab? I had to add the pets I wanted by going through the lui and manually typing in.
Keep up the great work!
Glad you like it ;-) I will add these two emotes in the next release, thanks for the suggestion.
Could you explain why you needed to add your vanity pets manually? Normally, all your known pets should already be listed in the configuration.
I'm not sure, my pet list didn't update for all my pets it would appear, only the ones that it was shipped with, so I had to add
[32939] = {
["n"] = "Little Fawn",
["p"] = "shoujo",
["s"] = "f",
},
In order to give my Little fawn a unique personality. I might have just missed something to input my pet list.
Having trouble having it respond to other people's emotes when my pet has a name other then its default one. it happens reguardless of if it is a targed emote, untarged, target player or pet.
Also even with default name it doesnt always respond, this might be due not being able to detect names and emotes properly with MRP since I run it and play on an RP realm.
Still, love this addon, the random timed emotes alone is worth having it for!
Haven't tested it yet with custom names. Will do so and hopefully fix it for the next release!
Mines is not working, for some reason it keeps telling me type /help for a list of commands, and i just updated the addon.
Then it is disabled for some reason. Check whether you see some text in your chat window regarding Mylune's Champions, check whether it appears in the addon configuration tab, and check if it is enabled there. Finally, activate the display of lua errors in the help configuration and post any related error here: http://www.wowace.com/addons/mylunes-champions/create-ticket/
hi there!
i seem to have some problems with my companions. Most of them don't do any emotes at all and in the chat window there's a text saying "you don't have an active companion"? and sometimes when i want to type /ce it just doesn't let me press enter ?
Am i doing something wrong? :/
or is there currently a bug?
thank you for reading!
