PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

I always thought Pitbull4 was better than Pitbull3 so why abandon the project you spent so much time in for a worse version of it that will probably require so much work?
I'm also guessing this means no future updates of this at all and everyone that doesn't have their Pitbull3 Files anymore has to start over right?
Edit: Unless its a late April Fool's joke which in that case nvm?
Boo.
Important announcement about PitBull Unit Frames.
Effective today development on PitBull4 is ceasing. We will be resuming development of PitBull3. We've heard the call of users who have brought their difficulties in switching to PitBull4.
The lack of a way to migrate settings to PitBull4 to PitBull3 has caused users a great deal of frustration in switching. Especially in light of the new configuration style of PitBull4. Layouts while very powerful have proven to be too confusing.
Many features that are simply not possible with PitBull3 will be lost in going back. For instance the ability to have as many frames as you wanted for any given unit (which was almost done for singletons and not just groups), advanced aura filtering that you can control, multiple text providers so you can choose not to use LibDogTag, and rune support for Death Knights.
Users who have migrated to PitBull4 should immediately begin migrating their configurations back to PitBull3.
Was an April Fool's Day joke.

You should be able to find the help you need there. Either from the existing posts or by asking.
I want to show my HoTs (Druid) as icons with time on the "Blank Space" or in a "plug-in" bar.
I've tried to use "AuraBar" plug-in, but it does not satisfy, as I want to atleast be able to see my Lifebloom stacks.
Any tips on how to do this? As I want to see who in my party who has a active HoT on them at all times to be able to easily refresh HoTs without having to check the target first.
You can filter the auras that way. Look in the Layout editor under Aura and t hen under Filters. The filters named with "mine" in their name will do what you want.
I used XPearl since the beginning but comes a new Interface Layout, comes new style and XPearl doesnt really support design or Layout wishes.
I also tried AG Unitframes ( if not mistaken) but tht was similar.
Pitbull has enough Options for a really nice Interface.
Only thing: I would appreciate a relative positioning for Indicators.
My bars arent that big and only having the choice to lock them here or there doesnt alway hit the best place.
The buffs/auras would benefit (at least for me) if it was possible to only show my Buffs, which I casted. Same for Debuffs.
If there is such an option I didnt find it.
I have no clue how to just show my character's level (as opposed to level, class and race) in pitbull 4... It keeps throwing lua errors at me. Will i be able to just do it like in pitbull 3 again some time? Like, [level][class]?
