You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Spent a few hours with this last night running right beside Pitbull3, It's amazing for an alpha so far, I've disabled PB3 and took the time to setup this to match the PB3 config I had and will be using it at raid tonight. I'll report back any issues I see.

This is coming along great. I really love the new portrait transparency.
Let's hope blizzard opens the focus frame to better use for 3rd party addons.
Any word on when raid frames will be in? would love to start testing them for memory, etc
Very usable so far, but still needs some tweaks. Couldn't get the portrait window to mimic PB3 behavior (treating it like a bar, basically, similar to Health/Power/etc.) - it wants to have a square portrait no matter what. Looking forward to further refinements :)
@doxxx: After testing one of the latest alpha releases, it's pretty usable but I wouldn't recommend installing it for full time use.
How usable would you consider PitBull4 to be in its current state? Is it something a bleeding edge tester could install or is it still in the "only its developer could love it" stage?

could you include an converter for converting old PB3-Designs to PB4?
Would be awsome, cause it takes a lot of time to convert it by myself in the code. The other way is to rebuild it by the new Interface, but its difficult to rebuild it 100%.

Mushgog, the idea is for you to gain customizability, actually. Things are arranged to be a lot easier to customize, though.
a question to someone who's played around with PB4:
exactly how much customization are you losing going from v3?
Cant set any options related to party frames. am I missing something here or its not working yet? Otherwise seems cool.
Some suggestion about opacity: add a global opacity settings because when you are at full health and power, then if you set the bar to be lower than 100% opaque the "main" frame area is still visible on 100% visibility... And that is a big black box, which is distracting and ugly. :)
