Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

There isn't a difference in look (except what's not yet completed, like auras), the difference is under the hood, and in the configuration/options. The idea is to be able to do everything pb3 did, except easier to configure, and use less resources.

Posted Jan 8, 2009Thanks for finishing my translation, I like how everything is working. However, in some cases capital letters are missing. I tried fixing it, but nothing changed :\ It looks just bad. Is it fixable?

Posted Jan 7, 2009Spent a few hours with this last night running right beside Pitbull3, It's amazing for an alpha so far, I've disabled PB3 and took the time to setup this to match the PB3 config I had and will be using it at raid tonight. I'll report back any issues I see.

Let's hope blizzard opens the focus frame to better use for 3rd party addons.
Any word on when raid frames will be in? would love to start testing them for memory, etc

Posted Jan 4, 2009Very usable so far, but still needs some tweaks. Couldn't get the portrait window to mimic PB3 behavior (treating it like a bar, basically, similar to Health/Power/etc.) - it wants to have a square portrait no matter what. Looking forward to further refinements :)

Posted Jan 3, 2009could you include an converter for converting old PB3-Designs to PB4?
Would be awsome, cause it takes a lot of time to convert it by myself in the code. The other way is to rebuild it by the new Interface, but its difficult to rebuild it 100%.
