Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

I don't think they will. They did make a blue post stating that they wanted the lua code to match up with the rest of their coding so that it was no longer valid to have a division by zero.

Posted Oct 25, 2011Sorry but the guide does not help with setting up different layouts, it only helps with setting one up. As far as I can see, one type of unit can only get one sort of layout, so how would this even work?
Also I find nowhere how to indicate my target is hostile or friendly. It seems I need to do this with aura filters but you make no mention of this, the aura filters seem very complicated to handle, plus i don't know wether changing something there will make it change globally or just for my current layout.
I'm about to give up on this...

Posted Oct 25, 2011You are quoting a reply to someone else about their issue which is not the same as your issue. They were discussing a target frame vs a player frame type layout... which is covered in the guide.
Your question has to do with using two layouts for one target frame. Which I believe is possible but you will need to know lua to do so. That is not covered in the guide, because the guide is not on how to teach someone lua.

Posted Oct 26, 2011Yes, you can set it up to show your face. Just open the Pitbull Options menu and click on Layout Editor>Indicators>Portrait> and enable it. I'm pretty sure thats clear enough if I was in the game it would be easier to explain.

The guide linked above can help you with how to go about setting up different layouts.

I would like to know if it is possible to enable/disable wich frames that shows debuffs/buffs. Atm i get all or nothing, i only want to have debuffs/buffs shown on my player and my target frame. Or atleast, how do i remove them from my target´s target frame..
Otherwise, great addon !

Posted Oct 23, 2011Are you talking about "Aura filter editor" ? If so..., i might be "nub" or something..., but i rly don´t understand how to set options in there =/ ... The only thing i want is to get rid of the debuffs/buffs shown on my "target´s target", and my "focus" frame. If someone could explain how to do this in abit more depth i would be very greatful!

Posted Oct 23, 2011I dont have access to WoW right now, so I cant give you exact answers. What I did is set the dropdown menu in the upper left hand corner to solo, then click everything on and off to see what it did. Sorry I can't be of any more help that that.

I'm not able to make a setup for groups.
There is only the possibility to choose Disable or Solo.
Is there something missing in my pitbull folder?
Are there other possibilities to do the setup for group and raidframes?

Posted Oct 18, 2011Great Addon I have it all sorted out just how I like it but I have one final question.
In the top left hand corner there are two sets on numbers. They are yellow and they look like latency numbers. I want those gone and I have no idea how to get rid of them. There are so many options my head is spinning. If someone could help me with this I would geratly appreaciate it.
