Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Any thoughts on adding a button in the options for the unit that controls [x] Only show in combat or something? That'd be a lot easier than making a whole layout just for one thing like that wouldn't it?
hi there...one question.
i want to make a unit frame like this:
health space energie
Health and space is no problem but if i set energie to the right side it onle makes a bar that goes up to down and not left to right. Any ideas?

Kupo, Should be able to just make another layout and then set that layout to fade the bar out of combat.
Anybody could gimme a clue on how to make, via lua or dog tags, how to set the cast bar to show Name, Race and Level but hide them all while casting and show the spell name and cast time?

Is it possible to make Pitbull's Target of Target frame only appear when in combat?
The combat fader effects all panels simultaneously... I don't see a way to make it just effect Target of Target. Or just make ToT display only while in combat
Great addon, I replaced both of my unit frames and raid frames with it. However, I do have one request that would be great if it can be added. I could not figure out how to show the different party numbers when I am inside an raid. Would you please consider making the showng of party numbers ( which indicates which group I am in ) a default setting? Or would someone please show me how to enable this feature? Thanks in advance.
Sherwiness, make sure that under Modules, LuaTexts that the Enabled box is checked. Then you can go under the Text Tab in the Layout Editor and play around with texts there. The code box is where you put the code people are posting.
rakkarage, Just the way AceConfigDialog behaves. It annoys me too.

You had CastDate instead of CastData and you don't want to calculate totalanddelay at the same time as duration because delay might be nil... You also redid the calculateion to find total which was unnecessary. Otherwise it looks fine from me eyeballing it.
on the newest version yall have posted I can not find where to upload lua text for setup anywhere would someone let me know so I can upload others setup styles

the options window does not stay resized? goes back to default every time i change an option or a selection?
not sure if this is the right place to ask at all, but anyway i'd like to know how to make bar that are aligned on Right/Left to fill horizontally instead of vertically, if that's possible...
I've been working on a new LuaText for the Cast Time. I like to use the format (pushback timeleft / total cast time)
Here is what I've got, I have done a bit of testing and wanted to just see what everyone else things. (I'm a bit of a noob with Lua)
Like I said, I'm a bit of a noob, for the most part I started off of the cast time Luatext that was already there and worked from there, so any suggestions and pointers are welcome.
Kaziedk, Yes it was intentional. LuaTexts is faster and generally better for most of our users. So I changed the default text provider, but like I said before this changed it for everyone because pretty much everyone was just using the defaults.
Shefki: Thanks man.. it worked, everything is back to normal .. not really sure why an update would do that, maybe it was intentional from you guys? :P
Kupotek: yea, i haven't checked the Pitbull borders atm. but last time i checked pitbull only had crap borders and not "per bar"-borders like on the screenshot i posted hehe.. :D
