PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

How pitbull does it with absolute+%:
31.9k/31.9k 100%
how i want it:
31900/31900 100%
StormFX, unfortunately no. It's not finished yet and I felt I had to do a new beta tag for 3.2 today.
sxsmoke3x3, Use a separate layout for each unit frame that you want different settings on.
I am having trouble filtering aura's so that they are not able to show on my player frame. Is there and easy way to just disable aura's from specific frames instead of filtering all of them???? please help b/c I play w/ my player frame just over my action bars and the buffs/debuffs are over lapping them.
Woot! Blank Bar colors! Thanks :D
Oh, wow. Thank you for posting about Main Tank bars. I have been checking the configuration UI periodically to see whether it had been implemented, but apparently I was not looking in the right place. I thought it was not possible and had been telling others it wasn't!
JStrese, I agree we should have a better default configuration. I don't really think that having major features turned on is a huge deal however. No matter what we turn on or turn off someone is going to disagree. That's why we allow things to be turned off. Working on the defaults is definately on my todo list. That said, you really don't sound like the type of person that should be running betas.
borbies, Was never added to PB4. There's a ticket for it.
Hi. Did you guys remove the option to change colors for pet happiness? As in, changing "Happy" from green to blue, etc.
This mod is extremely, extremely tedious to set up.
Granted this mod is still in beta.. wouldn't it prove imperative to present it in a useful state? So that people may, you know, actually test it out of the "box"?
My experience:
- Installed the addon
- All the frames were centered (very annoying)
- Nothing, I repeat, nothing was even had a default setup -- do you guys even attempt to make a formidable mod?
- Everything was turned ON (reputation bars, experience bars, threat bars -- everything that proves to be useless)
Have you guys, being developers, not learned from Microsoft by now? That bundling, and enabling, everything in sight is very non-user friendly? Software should be distributed in the very minimal state of being useful (everything that absolutely neeeeds to be on, should be on. Otherwise everything else should be off).
Sorry about sounding like such a prick, but I hate trying out addons/software that has so much potential, but doesn't live up to it. I was actually thinking about switching from X-Perl to PitBull -- but until usability becomes important to the development of PitBull, I will not.
Thank you kindly for your reply. You have patience -- and smarts -- way, way beyond me. Excellent work, I love it!
What I mean is not the combat or range fader, but a fader for health and power bars, where chunks of the bar slowly fade when you lose health or mana to make it look smooth.
I know this was possible with PB 3 so I wonder if I just missed that option in PB4 or if this is not a feature (yet).
Other than that, terrific addon!
