PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Try this from the FAQ:
How do I turn the default Raid/Party frames on/off?
Go to Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and uncheck or check the box next to the raid/party frames to turn on and off the Blizzard frames and Raid manager. If you would like to use the Blizzard raid manager with PB4 frames, this should be set so that they are not hidden here, and use the "Hide" button on the Raid Manager window.
I do not wish to turn off the default raid frames (because I like them), I only wish to get rid of only this:

Based on what I've read on the UI and Macros forums I'd be surprised if there wasn't already an add on that will hide that for you which would be a better option for managing that then adding it and thus requiring it to be maintained) to PB4
If it doesn't then its not PB and you can start turning on addons until it reappears and you find the culprit.
Checking player under /pb > Modules > Hide Blizzard frames worked for me when you first reported it so I'm surprised its not working for you :(
Not the Pitbull Player Frame.
The config-frames dont show up anymore.
Yes we are aware. That is why there is red text on the tooltip explaining that we purposefully turned it off.
There is a bug we are working on that was introduced with 4.0.3.
You can still configure those frames. Either by making a layout using the singleton frames in config mode and then applying it to your groups or by joining a group and configuring them that way.
Pretty please?
Beyond that we can set a list of names that the group will display and tell it to display the names in exactly the order they are provided in. We can only update those names out of combat. So if someone joins your group while you are in combat. They simply will not display.
I'd hoped that some changes to the SecureGroupHeader would implement this for Cata but it hasn't worked out that way.
In my opinion supporting sort by role is not possible without breaking a key functionality of the unit frame.
