PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Sorry for the problems folks ^-^
Thanks for the reports!
Any suggestions?
Its activated in my addons but it doesn't seem to load at all, even the /pitbul command doesn't work anymore.
Whats up? :)
go to /pb Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and uncheck "Party" and "Raid"
Outline()
The character models in the sample above are from the Portraits under Indicators. The sample above with the full body is set to not use them as bars.
Right now, it looks like if they are missing any health or mana they will show at an opacity I set. It would be nice to set it to show them at 100% if their health drops below 80% or a value we can set, that way we can prioritize who needs heals more than those who are at, say, 98%.
XPerl handles this beautifully. It's just three check boxes (one to turn on fading, one to turn on range finding, one to turn on dispellable buffs), a slider for the health threshold, and then just drag up a spell to a box to set the range.
Of course PB4 is much nicer looking with tons of configurations making it easier to set up a UI, so I really want to change from it.
Their mana is no concern to me also, not much I can do for them if they have low mana in the middle of a fight. Cool feature though, would be nice to have it, just not combined with health.
Also, is there a way to show character models in the unit frames as well? I see that it's possible in one of the screen shots, just haven't figured that out yet.
Anyway, can't wait to figure it all out. Would love to use this, if I could just figure out the fading.
