PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Hey, not sure if this was a deliberate change in the latest versions but on previous versions, the default blizzard raid bars were disabled. Now when I"m in a raid, there is a raid tab on the left side of my screen and I cant get rid of it. Is there an option in pitbull or something to turn this off, or is that a bug?

Yes there is.
/pb -> Modules -> Hide Blizzardframes -> Check Raid and it should disappear.

Possible minor bug - custom colors on health bars don't work for target dummies. The bar shows up grey. All other NPCs and players I've targeted work fine with the same settings.

Grey = tagged by another player. This is true for all NPCs.

The reason you see it so often with the target dummy is that its a popular target dummy, people are frequently tagging it and rarely actually killing it. So the chances of it being "Tagged" are significantly higher.

Check here:

/pb Modules > Portraits
This box should be checked to "enable" which makes the available for layouts.

/pb Layout Editor > Indicators > Portraits
That area turns them on for the specific layout.

I'm guessing you missed one of those two places.

To add, the raid frames are not placing players in the correct groups unless the groups are full. If I have 3 players in group1 and 3 in group2, I see 5 in group1 and 1 in group2. Am I doing it wrong, or is there another fix needed?

This sounds like normal behavior if you are using one big raid group instead of one group per party. If you prefer to not have it act like one giant group and like individual groups then you should make individual groups. :)

Noticed a bug in the party/raid panels. As people join, something makes the names appear faulty. It already happened that I had Four nameplates with my names on them. However, when I click on all four one after another, I target the actual player it should represent.

Its not only my name that repeats itself, some nameplates just show wrong names. Only a /reloadui seems to fix it.

I'm sure you are probably aware,but just in case you're not.. Now there is no option in the drop down menu at all to configure party or raids, it only lists solo.

Yes we are aware. That is why there is red text on the tooltip explaining that we purposefully turned it off.
There is a bug we are working on that was introduced with 4.0.3.

You can still configure those frames. Either by making a layout using the singleton frames in config mode and then applying it to your groups or by joining a group and configuring them that way.
