Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Wow, I am really pleased with the ease of set up, took me 20 min to get everything right on the PTRs. Really impressive, much nicer interface for setting up unit frames...
I do however have one issue, Now i realise you guy work hard on this project and it shows and I was wondering if in the future we will be able to edit the size of the text on different unit frames, for example being able to have you're characters health as quiet big and then the health of your party members quiet small. If you can already do this I cant figure out how. If this is not something you're implimenting dont sweat it, its not a huge deal I just liked how you could do that in 3.0.

TehNho, I've not experienced any problems with groups using targets unit groups. Can you post your PitBull4.lua out of the WTF folder of your wow install. You can do so by mousing over your comment after you post and then clicking on the paperclip in the upper right corner.
fiuta, Fixed in the most recent Alpha push.
If you set a bar's "side" to anything other than center, the frame's background will not be visable on the top and bottom of that bar. The bar will extend to the edges of the frame on those sides despite having a non-zero padding. Anyway around this?
Also how do i make my target of target to look like the one in pitbull 3.

Hi - I've tried using Pitbull 4, and it seems excellent, but one problem has been breaking my back for about 4 days, and although I can find the question asked in a couple of places, I can't find an answer!
When I set up a group for party targets, and somebody in my party targets something, their target doesn't appear on my screen. I created a new group called Party Targets, clicked "Party targets*" from the drop down unit group, gave it the layout I wanted (normal, no changes) and moved it to where I wanted it to appear, but it doesn't appear to show up. I found a person with the same problem, but he'd asked something about raid groups in his question as well, so all of the answers were about that and nobody seemed to address his issue of the party targets not showing up, except in one place where Shefki suggested creating a new group and choosing party targets from the drop down. I've tried disabling all other addons, I've tried downloading the most recent (and about 7 others at random, just in case) version of Pitbull4, and I can't find any way around the problem - obviously it's pretty vital that I can see what my party is targetting - any ideas?
Well, after a few hours of getting used to the new layout and setting things up how I wanted, I must say you've done an excellent job keeping the bulk of the features and making it A LOT easier to setup. Great work so far!
g1breel, If I understand what you're asking there isn't a horribly great way to break bars apart but you could use the BlankSpace bar to space stuff and then make it transparent. Not terribly elegant. As far as vertical bars, set the bars to left or right instead of center and they'll be vertical.
Riokou, We're limited by the anchoring options in the SecureTemplates. The SecureTemplates are designed around rows growing a certain direction and columns growing another. I don't believe there's a way to achieve a centered design.
silkfire, Open a ticket and include examples of the mobs/quests/etc... that you're seeing this with and I'll investigate.

you can have different layout (shp/positioning/colours/bars etc) for every one frame.
Shefki, how difficult would it be to fix the so called "mob conversions"? For example, if in a quest, I have an item that turns an elite mob into a normal one, the elite border does not disappear. I have to deselect and the reselect the target to see the change. Please let the frame check for such an event. Also. If a mob is green (unattackable) and then turns neutral (attackable) the color of the health bar is still green, I have to deselect/reselect to see the health bar as yellow. Do you get me? Thank you!

Would it be possible to add options for customizing the anchoring of group frames? It would be nice if we could center them instead of them expanding to one direction (when in a 15-man BG, my centered 25-man layout looks lopsided, etc.)
