Talented adds spec templates to the Talent UI.
Talented 3
Talented is getting a large update for wow 4. It will no longer replace the default UI but add a new Tab to it, with most of the previous functionality present.
There is an alpha release available on wowace. It's still missing some major parts, but it should give you an idea of the new interface.
Talented_Loader is no longer needed (and in fact will create problems if left installed, so remove it at once).
Update feature List
- Create and view templates for all classes and all pet types.
- Set a specific template as a target, and see it when you're spending your next talent point on level up.
- Apply complete templates with a single click, after a talent wipe.
- Hunters can view the spec of their pet and apply templates to them.
- Share your current build with other, or any template you've made.
- Import templates directly from the Blizzard Talent calculator, wowhead or wowdb.
- Export templates as URL to wowhead, wowdb or the Blizzard Talent calculator.
- Allow pet templates to be imported from and export to wowhead pet calculator.
- Inspection of other characters will also inspect their alternate spec, if they have one.
- A macro command /talented apply <template> allows to automatically apply a template based on its name.
Can we get a "Swap Spec" button on the main frame somewhere, so we don't have to go through the dropdown? Just a suggestion.
i dont think so...
My first spec is survival, my second spec is marksman, and i have the same problems with the pet talents (cannot view them)...
With my first spec is see all talents from any pet i have.
If i switch to my second spec, i see no more any talents from my pets.
The frame says Level 10 and i have 15 points free.
Draxon
1. I'm survival specced, got my croc out, all pet talents are spent and it displays the spent points fine.
2. I switch to my 51-point BM spec, pet is dismissed automatically.
3. I resummon my pet, and talented shows no points spent in the pet talent tree, when in fact the original 16 that I had spent upon switching to BM are retained and I am given 4 additional. So of course the Templates do not work, because there are only 4 points to spend and it requires 20.
4. I switch back to my Primary (survival) spec, and in this case all pet talents are refunded. So the 16 point pet talent template does work. But if I skip using the template at this step and switch *back* to my secondary BM spec, no points are spent still in the pet talent tree, and the 20 point template works. So a temporary work-around I suppose.
If you could possibly fix so that it shows the pet talents upon switching to BM from Surv/MM and just manually allow the allocation of the 4 additional points that would be sweet. But as is it fails to display them at all and it somewhat makes the addon unusable for me.
Thanks for the great addon!
I can see all pet-skills in the book, but talented says threr are 15 free points and the petskillltree is empty. If i switch back to my first tree all is ok.
If i turn talented off, the all points are visible and my pet talenttree is ok. No problem with first or second skilltree.
