Talented adds spec templates to the Talent UI.
Talented 3
Talented is getting a large update for wow 4. It will no longer replace the default UI but add a new Tab to it, with most of the previous functionality present.
There is an alpha release available on wowace. It's still missing some major parts, but it should give you an idea of the new interface.
Talented_Loader is no longer needed (and in fact will create problems if left installed, so remove it at once).
Update feature List
- Create and view templates for all classes and all pet types.
- Set a specific template as a target, and see it when you're spending your next talent point on level up.
- Apply complete templates with a single click, after a talent wipe.
- Hunters can view the spec of their pet and apply templates to them.
- Share your current build with other, or any template you've made.
- Import templates directly from the Blizzard Talent calculator, wowhead or wowdb.
- Export templates as URL to wowhead, wowdb or the Blizzard Talent calculator.
- Allow pet templates to be imported from and export to wowhead pet calculator.
- Inspection of other characters will also inspect their alternate spec, if they have one.
- A macro command /talented apply <template> allows to automatically apply a template based on its name.
Would DEARLY love an update for this mod. I miss having the ability to store templates. I really could use them now so I don't have to spec seventy billion toons.
PLEASE *begging* UPDATE this wonderful mod...ty
Hi,
Need update for the 4.0 patch plz !!!
S.
With Talented loaded the regular talent pane is simply gone. Also a broken version of the glyph interface can pop up in the middle of other things.
I loved the functionality of being able to have templates for talent specs on any of my characters. It made talking about specs with guildies much easier to do, since I could just look up my personal build choices right then and there, no matter who I was on.
I actually hated how Talented handled the old Glyphs pane, and the current default setup for Talents and Glyphs is just perfect imo. I just want to be able to do templates!

The only way to do that is to logout, disable "Talented", login, drag the talent using the official interface, logout, enable "Talented" and log back in.
Quite nasty.
I'll try to fix it in Talented 2. It will be fixed for Cataclysm.
Speaking of Talented2 - is that already under development?
If so, anywhere we can download / test it out?
On my Hunter i recently get spammed with:

Step by Step for me:
Open talents
Switch to pet tab
Import talent setup
Paste, OK
Set as target
view current spec (or it has happened if I switch back to Hunter tab)
CRASH (what happens is an instant lockup, cannot see any error box, only way out is to ctrl, alt, delete the client and restart. If any other programs were running at the time they are locked up as well.)
I have had this problem with Ferocity and Tenacity pet specs.
