QuestHubber
Now updated for Mists of Pandaria
QuestHubber is an addon that was designed to show pinpoints on the world map of all the quests you've missed. Between data personally collected by myself, data submitted from other users, and data that I obtained from Wowhead via a crawler script, there are over 7,000 quests for Alliance and Horde from every zone and continent in game currently—including the new Cataclysm zones. Because much of the data from the old zones is very new and Wowhead does not seem to be 100% correct, you may notice some incorrect positioning, missing quests, or quests from the opposite faction, but in my experience these problems are not intrusive at all.
Type /qh, /qhub, or /questhubber to access the options.
Features
- Only shows quests you have yet to complete
- Quick toggling of pins via world map
- Optional filtering quests out of level range
- Optional tracking of daily quests
- Optional hiding optional quests you skipped and future quests you cannot access yet (very experimental!)
Note: If you used an older version of QuestHubber, you may also have the addon QuestGather in your AddOns folder. This was an optional addon that was bundled along to help collect data, but it is no longer necessary. Feel free to delete the QuestGather folder.
I think that that number might have been some error or something, because there are lots of numbers listed, and not in chronological order, but they're all around 25000, haha... That being said, whatever that did, it seemed to work, now the maps show what all I need to do. Thanks!
Oh, I was thinking of the last number being something like "<skipped 6000>". That makes more sense. I will have you know that what I told you to do could not impact it at all, but I'm glad you got it working.
hi there i updated the quest hubber with the most recent update for the 5.0.4 patch however the maps are showing as out of date is there something im forgetting to do?
Oh no, you're right. I forgot to update the version on all the map packs too. I'll do that today, thanks.
hey, keep on getting Lua errors, even when disabled.
http://www.scribd.com/doc/104424136
and after using "/dump QuestHubber.playerQuests", it says, <skipped 2192>
Those don't look like they're related to QuestHubber. As someone above you reported, the individual quest packs appear as "out of date", so if you aren't loading out of date addons, you wouldn't see any pins. Judging by the output from your /dump, QuestHubber is successfully fetching all the quests you've completed, so check that last thing I said.
so i downloaded the upgrade and it seems like the game doesnt recognize the update. none of the quests are showing up on my map. please please please fix this! this is the best addon ever and i love using it! while waiting for pandaria im trying to get the loremaster achievement and its impossible without this wonderful addon.
Turn on lua errors (Esc > Help > Something about Lua Errors, check it off). Reload your UI or log out and back and in and see if it says anything. Check the top left corner of your map (in the zone you are doing quests) to make sure there is QuestHubber text. If there is, mouse over it and see what it says. If everything so far looks good, type "/dump QuestHubber.playerQuests" and see how many it finds. You don't have to count them all, but just the number that shows up at the end.
quest helper keeps going into Error
Is this the new version? Could you give me the error text or a screenshot if so?
@pigmonkey
Awesome..Thank you very much! :)
Everything should be updated to work with 5.0.4. If there are issues, please leave a comment describing what is wrong.
Edit: No new quests have been added to the database, this was merely a small patch to get things working again as they were before. I will look into updating the database for Mists, however.

Thank you so much for the quick response!!
Can we expect an update for 5.0.4 soon? It doesn't seem to be working after the patch. I love this add on and hope to start using it again soon!
Hello :)
short question...will there be a version for MoP?
Wonderfull addon, it helps me to know exictly how many quests left for each area, so I could enjoy some lore hunting and achiev
I use this addon side by side with Quest Completist
Both of them need to do a server query to effectively find what you looking for :)
I've download Questhubber... but i cant get to show me what Quest i have missed on the map... is there something else i am missing
Perhaps you need to initiate a server query for your completed quests. I made Grail do it automatically, but am not sure whether QuestHubber does it.
The add on is amazing. Whenever I get low on quests while shooting for a zone achievement I just turn it on and BAM I know what I've missed. Two thumbs up!
