QuestHubber
Now updated for Mists of Pandaria
QuestHubber is an addon that was designed to show pinpoints on the world map of all the quests you've missed. Between data personally collected by myself, data submitted from other users, and data that I obtained from Wowhead via a crawler script, there are over 7,000 quests for Alliance and Horde from every zone and continent in game currently—including the new Cataclysm zones. Because much of the data from the old zones is very new and Wowhead does not seem to be 100% correct, you may notice some incorrect positioning, missing quests, or quests from the opposite faction, but in my experience these problems are not intrusive at all.
Type /qh, /qhub, or /questhubber to access the options.
Features
- Only shows quests you have yet to complete
- Quick toggling of pins via world map
- Optional filtering quests out of level range
- Optional tracking of daily quests
- Optional hiding optional quests you skipped and future quests you cannot access yet (very experimental!)
Note: If you used an older version of QuestHubber, you may also have the addon QuestGather in your AddOns folder. This was an optional addon that was bundled along to help collect data, but it is no longer necessary. Feel free to delete the QuestGather folder.
The addon is showing me quests that I can not do. For example, Priest specific quests. I am a warlock. It is also showing quests from npc's that when I go to that particular npc does not have any quests available.
I have a problem. I recently reformatted my computer and had to install all my WoW adds again. After the installation Questhubber shows quests I have already completed, before the reinstall. I have turned on the filter that hides completed quests and it still works on quests I've done now, after the reinstall. Is there any way to hide the previously completed ones?
Quests are not stored on the local hard disk, they are stored on the server. Reformatting or using a different computer should not change anything. I would recommend checking out my post below if you want to look further:

Is avalaible from Scryers bank and Scryers tier, QH shows it only on Scryers bank. (these places are located in Shattrath city)
It is impossible for an addon to interact with either the game world or the minimap. What probably happened was you disabled Low Level Quest tracking in the tracking menu on the minimap.
A filter for Ally/Horde would be fine ... today I ran to many Horde-questgivers .... ;)
It should automatically use quests depending on your faction. Let me know of a specific quest/questgiver if it did take you to the wrong place.
Edit: I really don't know what to tell you guys. When I have no other addons running except the version that you get from here, it works fine. I can change my filter settings and see all quests. Take a look at what is displayed in the top left corner of the minimap. It should say "QuestHubber (x/y)" where x is the number of quests shown and y is the number total. Therefore, the difference is how many are hidden due to filtering. You can see this specifically when mousing over the text.
If you're having a problem do the following:
If you still do not see any pins but can get to the options menu, then I cannot fathom what the problem could be. In any case, always report the number that you read in the top left of the World Map.
Ive been using QH for awhile now, its a neat little addon but it has stopped showing the icons the the map. Any ideas?
Can you access the options? Are you using any map addons? Do you see the addon name in the top-left corner of the map?
I have the same problem. Stopped working for me when 4.3 came out. I am updated and have the latest version. It does say QuestHubber in the upper left corner of the map screen, and I can get to the options screen. The only other map addon I'm aware of is a coordinates system, and it's the same one I've used along with Questhubber for months. I went into the QH options and tried checking/unchecking various options just to see if anything at all would show up. I just can't seem to get it to work?
Thanks for the detailed report. If you could, type /qhub to bring up the options and check the message under the "Daily Quests" section, and let me know what that says. Also, is this a specific zone, or are all zones affected? For example, the starting zones usually have a ton of quests listed that you can't complete, so there will always be pins there.
For what it's worth, I've been using it fine since 4.3.
Perhaps this is the same problem I was having with the Wholly addon where Blizzard changed the size of the icons such that the math done in SetTexCoord needs to use 0.125 instead of 0.250 as the multiplier. I have not checked your addon, but I had based my map pins on your code originally.
Yup, I noticed that it was displaying incorrectly on the first day and fixed it immediately. I should also note that people who are having problems should turn on lua errors and see if they are getting anything.

Any ideas on what I can do to get them back, I'm trying to work on Loremaster : /
**Update**
So I tried turning off all my addons and then turning them on one by one to see if any were blocking questhubber and now it's working fine. Try turning all your addons off and back on and see if it helps you all :)

Thanks!
stopped working a while back.
have the latest version but continually says "OUT OF DATE"
u gonna update soon???
Also some minor things that would be nice :
1) Allowing for icon sizing/alpha
2) More work towards chain quests and gainable quests. Via showing later uncompleted chain/gainable quests not currently taken/doable as red. This way people know to do the other yellow marked quests before the red ones. So not all quests are marked as yellow.
Chain Quests : Yes, I know you have the hide option. Though instead of just hiding them. I feel its better to mark them in red. This way others know they are still there. Just not to the point in doing them yet.
If I may suggest using something of a coloring system :
Green : On this quest currently.
Yellow : Not completed yet.
Red : Not able to do just yet.
3) Changing questgiver name from bottom to be at top. When we do header/data we don't do reverse I hope. So only makes sense that the questgiver name be the header. Not a footnote. -Just a suggestion- =)
Part of the pre-cataclysm release event :
Tablets Of The Earth [80]
What's Shaking In Ironforge [80]
Yet they show as gainable quests in Stormwind. And This add-on should filter out the pre-release quests =)
