This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

QuestHubber is an addon that was designed to show pinpoints on the world map of all the quests you've missed. Between data personally collected by myself, data submitted from other users, and data that I obtained from Wowhead via a crawler script, there are over 7,000 quests for Alliance and Horde from every zone and continent in game currently—including the new Cataclysm zones. Because much of the data from the old zones is very new and Wowhead does not seem to be 100% correct, you may notice some incorrect positioning, missing quests, or quests from the opposite faction, but in my experience these problems are not intrusive at all.

Type /qh, /qhub, or /questhubber to access the options.

Features

Only shows quests you have yet to complete
Quick toggling of pins via world map
Optional filtering quests out of level range
Optional tracking of daily quests
Optional hiding optional quests you skipped and future quests you cannot access yet (very experimental!)

Note: If you used an older version of QuestHubber, you may also have the addon QuestGather in your AddOns folder. This was an optional addon that was bundled along to help collect data, but it is no longer necessary. Feel free to delete the QuestGather folder.

As o a few days ago QH stopped showing quests on the mapg, there are no LUA errors (i always have the option on), my minimap is set to display low level quests (and they aren't low level, im a 78 shaman in Sholazar). While writing this i got the inspiration to turn on the option to use out of date addons and its back to working. Maybe you should update whatever it is that you update to make WoW know it still works.

I have tried typing the above listed /commands to access the options but none of them are working. Also, on 1 toon I recently got the Loremaster achievement and QuestHubber stopped showing quests on my map and I know that there are some quests that I didn't do.
Any suggestions on how to get them to show up again? Or how to access the options?

That seems a general problem. Read my post below. I'm not sure when but my copy also stopped working all of a sudden and no uninstall/reinstall could get it back to work. Default settings didn't help either.

Nice concept but it seems it has its problems and is not very reliable. The other add-ons I have (3 of them, I'm not a junkie) all work perfectly except QuestHubber. Anybody can recommend a reliable alternative to QuestHubber?

If you're having problems where it is simply not displaying "QuestHubber" on your map, you need to turn on Lua errors (Interface > Help > Display Lua Errors) and copy/paste what shows up when you login.

The options are /qhub, and if that does not work, see the above statement.

As far as being not very reliable, I can only fix the bugs that people report or that I discover myself.

I'm having a strange problem. After installing it, QuestHubber would work as expected. Now, since a few days ago, it still reports the number of quests in a given region but it will not show each individual quests on the map. I did reset the settings to default to no avail. Further, I tried to create an account to open a ticket but each time I would try to validate, I would get a "bad request". No contact on the ticket account creation page, of course.

Check your settings again (/qhub). Did you outlevel the quests that you were originally trying to do? If so, you need to change the option or turn on Low Level Quest tracking on your minimap. Try unchecking "Hide Skipped Quests" and "Hide Unavailable Chain Quests" if that does not work.

Just because it has not been "updated" for the patch does not mean it will not work. If there is a problem with it, report it, otherwise you can assume it is working fine, as it has been for me.

Well, I didn't have any problem getting this to work :/ It's all pretty much self-reliant. All you gotta do is hit "install" on Curse, and that's pretty much it. From my understanding, pinsare only for incompleted quests, so if you're seeing nothing, you either have no incomplete quests in that area, or you have aconflict with another add-on I suppose.

There are a few quests missing from Teldrassil though:

"Mist" doesn't show up, but since it starts in a really stupid corner of the map, it's understandable that you may have missed this. The quest-giver is also the cat itself, so I dunno if this impacts on how the app works or not? :/

"The Glowing Fruit" doesn't show up either. I can't comment further on any others since, I'd pretty much completed the area when I added the app, and was trying to find that damned cat "Mist" as the reason :P

Hello, I play on Lightbringer US. Pally 84. You know how you say to yourself "This should explain it, even to the numbskulls!" Well this numbskull can't figure it out. I have read and read pages of posts and can't seem to figure out what I need to do to get this addon to work. I can follow directions but without a clear understanding of what I am suppose to do, I'm afraid to try. Could you help explain it to the brain dead guy in the back of the class room please. As if his only knowledge of code was what the punch into key pads? I would be most grateful!

If this is your first time installing an addon, follow the instructions on the Install tab that Curse provides above, under the "About QuestHubber" heading. After you install it, there is no required actions other than opening your map to make it work.

Shoot. I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. I have installed the addon successfully. Launched the /qhub and made sure it was installed correctly. But nothing shows up on my maps.
