This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Don't know if that would be possible, but could there be a way to not display the Frost Debuff due to aoe? Having it enabled, my screen literally gets filled by bars when frost mages use Blizzard on multiple mobs. I don't think tracking the debuff is that needed on things u can aoe. :)

Scorchio! 2 would still need to track each mob debuffed by AoE, in case you decided to focus fire on one later, so it's a case of whether or not to show the bar. At the moment, there's no simple way in the bar display code to decide whether the current state of the mob is "AoE'd", or "Targeted for focused fire" or just "Targeted in the middle of a bunch of mobs I'm AoE'ing"...

As a solution then, I'll look into piggy-backing on the code which highlights your targeted mob and allow you the option of letting you only see your target's bar and hiding the bars/warnings/notifications for non-targeted mobs.

My test bars work fine, but the real bars seem to fade out after 5-6 second for Scorch and Living Bomb. When they do no warning is displayed, either.

Oh, it was because I was using target dummies. When you're out of combat the bars fade. Probably should mention that somewhere (sorry if it is, I don't see it in the options or a readme file).

Yup - when you drop out of combat, Scorchio! 2 fades the bars out automatically...

Not sure I understand what you mean by "non-target alpha cooldowns"... Sorry!

I will be adding more options to customise the bars in an upcoming release, including the option to reverse the direction of the bars.

Ya I've been using satrina buff frames for my buffs, and discovered that I can make an entire buff frame that filters out everything except for only specific buffs. So i have an enormous hotstreak icon pop up in the middle-lower section of my screen whenever it proccs and that seems to do the trick :) I've really been looking for a good way to track scorch & living bomb, and I think this will serve just fine!

Well it's a pretty good addon but I miss two features:

- Settings for non-target alpha cooldowns.
- Bars going left->right / right->left

Hope you can consider this somehow. ^^

Ah.. found something else I would want. ^^
If you make the width of the bars really small like 120px you don't see the scorch count because it's all the way to the right and the name of the mob is to long. I'd need an option so the bar would be like this: icon-count-mobname-timer Or just tell me what to edit in the *.lua it's nothing makor I think.

And I found something more! :D
It would be kickass if we had a "Hot Streak" timer every time it fires up.
I look at Scorchio all the time infight but to see if I can still cast my instant pyro I have to look away from it =(

I imagine since that's a proc and not initiated by a spellcast it'll be harder to code for.

Hot Streak isn't hard to spot. It makes a specific tone, if you have scrolling text it'll show <Hot Streak> and it ALWAYS lasts exactly 10 seconds.

Scorchio! 2 will never track buffs or procs - it tracks debuffs on mobs, not buffs on you. There are plenty of addons for tracking buffs and procs - I use Power Aura's to track when I have Hot Streak or Clearcasting, etc.

Loved the old one, this one's great. Only problem is I put it at the top of my screen under SheepWatch's timer and for some reason checking and unchecking "Grow Up" does nothing and the only option is for the bars to stack up, instead of down. Any way to fix that easily?

This is a known problem and fixed in the codebase. I will be making a new commit fairly shortly which will include some other fixes also.

update, I did a Living Bomb & then the LB & the Scorch show up, now the scorch is working just by its self too, so all good!

Cool, I'd love it to watch Scorchio for any Synergy Debuff on the Mobs, i.e. when you make it visible if the 30% Bleed Dmg from Mangle (Druid) or Trauma (Warrior) is active, when i'm a Warrior or Druid.
