This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

The mod "assumes" nothing. It checks the combat log for the buff.

There is, however, a bug which is fixed and will be committed later today, and it's to do with the way Blizzard register non-counting refreshes of buffs. What has been happening is that subsequent refreshes of other mages' Hot Streak was being registered as a refresh for you too. Blizzard don't give the correct source flags for buff AURA_REFRESH (only AURA_APPLIED_DOSE), but I am now checking the /destination/ flags for self-buffs and this should solve your problem.

Well, having said "No Way" for so long, I've finally got around to adding Hot Streak tracking in Scorchio! 2..!!

I now intend to set about tracking other things that would be useful to mages - Clearcasting, Burnout, etc... Let me know else you'd like to see tracked.

Warlocks are soon going to be able to provide the same crit debuff with their shadowbolts once the patch goes live. Would it be possible to see if that is on the boss?

Tonight, I decided to solo an old world instance (baron run). I noticed, many of my living bomb applications were not being detected on a few of the bosses occasionally, and I do not know why.

Open the configuration panel, press the Toggle Anchors button, drag to where you want, press the Toggle Anchors button again.

Sorry. Scorchio! 2 is a debuff addon, not a buff addon - there are plenty of adds which do that already - I personally use Power Auras Classic to track Hot Streak, Combustion, Icy Veins, etc.

Any comment on the possibility of adding Hotstreak... as of now i am having to use 2 different addons 1 for yours which is better, and one for hotstreak but it also tracks living bomb and so forth... so i am having screen clog...

You might want to look at Burnout. It handles Scorch, Living Bomb and Hot Streak in one mod.

I'm not sure why this might be. Can you check that LibSink-2.0 is properly installed in your ..\Interface\Addons\Scorchio2\libs folder. Also check that you haven't unchecked any of the "Show Warnings" and "Show Expire Notices" on each type of bar in the configuration.

Hi, just wondering if it's possible to use sound from wow's data file (e.g. like how sct links to it)? Basically just looking for a larger variety of sounds to choose from and play around with ^^'

I noticed that Scorchio! 2 tracks how many times Scorch was cast upon a target, not taking into consideration my Glyph of Improved Scorch, which adds a 3 stack of the debuff on a target in one cast. It's not like this is hugely important, but I run Scorchio to see if and when the debuff is dropping when another mage's cast it. If they're also glyphed for Scorch, it won't track how many times the debuff is up properly until it's been cast 5 times.
