SKG now supports bid filtering, effectively replacing the old concept of Class Lists as well as providing some new features.

Managing bidding is done through the Bid Admin panel, used by the SKG Admin when processing a loot event.

Class Filtering

Prior to opening the bidding on an item, the Admin may set the Class Filter, restricting which classes may bid on the item. The Modify Class Filter button currently lets you select (or deselect) any individual class, or use one of the presets (Tanks, Healers, Melee DPS, Ranged DPS). Additional presets may be added later on request (for example, for Tier tokens).

Armor Filtering

This is another form of class filtering, which will further limit the people who many roll on the item based on the selection. They are:

• Strict Armor Filtering - You may only bid on an item that is the best kind of armor for your class (eg, Paladins may only roll on plate items)
• Loose Armor Filtering - You may roll on any armor item that you can technically wear, even if it is not the best for your class
• No Armor Filtering - You may roll on any armor item, regardless of class restrictions

Notes

• Armor Filtering only affects bidding on armor items
• The equivalent "Weapon Filtering" is not available at this time.

End Result

Once the Class and Armor Filtering have been selected, the SKG Admin opens the bid on the item selected. Only players that meet the armor restrictions may bid on the item. If someone who does not meet the filters attempts to bid, they will be informed that they do not meet the bidding requirements, and it will be ignored.
