This is an update of Tidy Plates: Threat Plates since World of Warcraft Legion (7.0).
Tidy Plates: Threat (TPTP for short) is a theme for Tidy Plates. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how nameplates react and look.
Features
- SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
- Threat system management.
- Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
- Customizable widgets.
- Customizable totem nameplates.
- Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.
Commands
- /tptp - Displays options.
- /tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
- /tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.

Migrating settings
If you have the settings from the old Threat Plates addon you can go in \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<account_name>\SavedVariables and make a copy of TidyPlates_ThreatPlates.lua with the name TidyPlates_Threat.lua. Then open the newly created file with a text editor and on the second row replace the name with TidyPlatesThreatDB.

Posted Jun 25, 2019v8.2 "SetPoint"/"anchor" error HOTFIX:
Navigate to {World of Warcraft Install Path}\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\TidyPlatesWidgets\ComboPointWidget.lua.
Open the file in your text editor.
Change line 215 to:
Combo point users will no longer see their combo points under/over the nameplate. Sorry, that is probably fixable but hopefully someone else can sort that out (I don't do UI).

I use to do it on the original tidyplates but doesn't seem to work anymore and 'target of' doesnt seem to do anything

Posted Jun 19, 2018Is it possible to track interrupt lockout duration on the nameplate? For example, once I pummel something it shows a 4sec pummel debuff on the nameplate. I believe nameplateAuras addon does this somehow.

Posted Nov 28, 2017Asking again as I haven't gotten an answer from back in september.
Quick question about memory usage. When I end up in some fights the add on memory usage goes from non existent to around 28 megs and it doesn't happen all the time. I can't seem to find a pattern as to why this is happening and why it only happens with some bosses. Any idea what I should do? It's effecting my frame rates.

The usage now jumps to like 40 mb. What is causing this? It tanks my frame rates. is it the math behind the plates? Anyone know?

Posted Nov 7, 2017Does anyone know how to make Tidy Plates show info like Guild, Npc Role etc but with the bars active? I have only managed to have that info show when i'm using the Headline view ( Text only)
Or is it possible to add that function as a widget?
