FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

hi.
im very triggered
how to remove frames from every skill like i had it before DF prepatch(upper screen)

both screens are bartender
In reply to BaditoLV:
It seems the option to remove the grid doenst work anymore.
In reply to BaditoLV:
I am having the same problem. I hope this is able to be fixed. I HATE the look of the borders.
In reply to alohaitsjeff:
masque helped alot - options-bartender-skin(or whatever) zoomed

In reply to BaditoLV:
yooo im here for the same! I dont understand why i cant remove the spell borders anymore, this triggers my anxiety so hard! i loved how my spell bar were looking before, now i cant make them the same and it bothers me so much!!!!!
In reply to BaditoLV:
The Zoom setting should work again the next version. Although for more comprehensive style changes, I would recommend using Masque.
In reply to nevcairiel:
In the past I changed the style of my buttons not with masque or similar but by replacing the actual icons through https://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info25064-CleanIcons-MechagnomeEdition.html
While this still works for weakauras, it doesn't with bartender anymore. Or more like, the icons are the high res icons but bartender/blizzard bars still put a frame around them now.
"summon demon" still does not work after re-install
In reply to raedorial:
Basically all the flyout spells (Teleport, Portal, Polymorph, Summon Demon, Rogue Poisons, etc) are all suffering the same issue.
Thank you for the Presets. I love the Classic ones. So helpful seeing as Blizzard screwed us. Please keep up this wonderful add-on.
hi - bartender button for "summon demon" does not work - I'm a lock
is there any way to stop bartender from casting abilities when i click on them to drag them somewhere else on my bar? im aware it's the "toggle actions on key press" option, but i dont want to disable it, i prefer that to be on for general gameplay, just not when im trying to rearrange stuff on my bars
playing on wrath classic version, if that matters
In reply to XboxControllerTV:
It's not an issue with bartender, it's an issue with WoW itself. There used to be an option to control whether spells activated on the down press or the release of a key but they hid that option. You need to use a script command to change the setting.
Use this in your wow chat window to make spells activate on key release again:
/console ActionButtonUseKeyDown 0
Use this if you want to change it back to spells activate on key press:
/console ActionButtonUseKeyDown 1
In reply to nicodemusmercy:
thats not really what im asking, also bartender has an option to control that in its own settings.
I am so frustrated with Bartender4 right now. I still have stuff I need to get done in game but with all the new stuff that was updated TOO SOON, it is bugging stuff out and I cannot SEE my keybindings anymore. They are hidden and I need to be able to see them. Trying to reset them is locked even, so they cannot be changed either. Why was this update released before the 25th?
After the 10-18-22 Dragonflight Beta update, now get this error when clicking on a flyout with Bartender
enabled.

Bartender was the only addon enabled. With it off, no errors.
In reply to msc6399:
Blizzard broke the Spell Flyouts for addons, and they need to fix it. There is unfortunately no way to work around that for the time being.
Hello! I hope you are still working on Bartender for Dragonflight. It will absolutely still be needed! The new WoW actionbar configuration is... vastly inferior.
I tried running the current Bartender in Dragonflight's beta... it worked, but the bar scaling was off (and the keybinding text was super small). Also, there were lua error popups
beta bug: the "micro menu" loses the instance "eye" icon, even if it's turned off in bartender. (the instance icon is in the beta there by default and not on the minimap).

This is kinda important
