Watched the xtensiontooltip2 channel for a while, trying to figure out what's going on. And for some reason, my character isn't sending out any description data on the channel. If I do a manual <d01> or similar message, that registers as my description (as should be, I suppose), but it's never done automatically and I can't quite figure out why. If there's anything that can cause that kind of interference, please let me know.

Update - I tried wiping my FlagRSP2 data, disabling all other addons, and even starting a test character on a brand new server (so there wasn't any WoW server-based settings interfering somehow), and my problem remains. It just doesn't respond to DP requests at all, and I'm not sure why since it clearly sends chat data fine (it updates my prefix, suffix and title without a problem) and parses it as well (since it can take in the data of other characters).

I'm really at a loss here as to why it works for everyone else, but not for me...

Okay, more "debugging" going on!

I tried adding some padding at the end of my description, and suddenly it worked.
I removed the padding again... and it stopped working.

Watching the channel and doing some experimentation, it seems that the description is only sent out (for me) if it is at least 1441 characters in length.
Of course, I saw plenty of other characters with shorter descriptions like that, so if it's a bug it's possibly a recent one... it's quite a puzzler to me.

It seems that there is a small problem with MI2 and FlagRSP2. When I set FlagRSP2 to display its enhanced Tooltip infos (Prefix, Surname ...) then tooltip info from MI2 is not displayed correctly. It misses infos like *runs* or Warrior/Paladin... Other Infos like drops, value.. work.
I'm not sure if the problem is caused by MI2 or FlagRSP2, but I'd really like to keep my roleplay infos displayed and get MI2's "runs" and class information on mobs.
I'm using both Mi2 and FlagRSP2 in their latest version.

NB: When I turn the enhanced tooltip off and use the default/light mode with the option to show extra tooltipinfo in lightmode, I get the following error when I hover over a char that uses FlagRSP: "...flagRSP2.lua: 636:attemt to perform arithmetic on a nil value"

Having difficulty with the current version (1.3.1) having downloaded and installed it (after this weeks period of maintenance) the description window does not appear and the tooltip does not display title/extra name description either.
I have also encountered times when the description window will appear but then can not be closed. These are problems that were both listed as having been fixed in the new version - i am certain i have the latest version downloaded so i wonder if there is something else i need to update or change as i have used previous versions without difficulty.
I dont know if it is relevent but the viewer box is now completly empty as well.

Azxiana, this did unfortunately not work, i also tryed to relog, still not working. I used curseclient installing this addon, as i do with all my addons, i tryed deleting all flagrsp related files, and install it manually, the same problem still persists, i also had this problem in the late period of 1.3.0

I was hoping this update would fix it.

The problem just came out of thin air, i have changed no options, installed no new addons, modified no files at all.

Tryed to disable all other addons aswell, i've tryed everything that comes to mind, no luck.

Edit:- Right, i finally decided to delete the WTF folder, and this fixed the problem, flagRSP2 is working as it should now. Thanks

Hi, i just recently downloaded the new version of flagRSP2, but i can no longer see my own description. I can see my title and suffix and prefix in the bottom right corner, but the description window on the left middle side of the screen however, does not show up. (Yes, i have joined the Xtensionxtooltip2 channel)

Either this newest version is breaking some of my FuBar plugins, or some of the FuBar plugins are breaking FlagRSP2, not sure which... but ClockFu and LocationFu, and PetFu no longer load for me and the bar itself covers up the minimap, as of the time I installed the newest version. I'll keep messing with it though.

Yeah, I've noticed that the chat channels have started restricting how often you can post. It's preventing damage meters posting results in chat channels.

Yeah, this is apparently a wide-spread issue. I use a different RP mod, but my friends use FlagRSP2. They can all see my full description fine, but their descriptions get cut off after only a few lines.

I've just Downloaded RSP, it works fine but when I click on people in only shows about a few lines, is there something I can do to fix it? And yes, I have that cut des clicked off, so I should be able to see it all.

Reason I say it is a bug is because the funky FlagRSP NPC tooltip can and does display mob quest info from other add-ons when Default/Light Mode Tooltip is ticked.

But when the Default/Light Mode Tooltip option is unticked, for some reason, we lose the cool looking FlagRSP2 NPC tooltip (bug one), going back to the default Blizzard tooltip, BUT this default looking tooltip somehow, FlagRSP2 stops other add-ons from then adding mob quest information to it (bug two), yet allows it on its own funky style tooltip.

So yeah those are the reasons I say it is a bug. Not because it's not possible, (because we know it is possible from the first option ticked) but because somewhere in the code it's not calling up the FlagRSP funky NPC tooltip when unticked.

- Other Add-ons can add Mob quest information to NPC tooltip

When "Default/Light Mode Tooltip" = UNticked
Results:
- Funky flagRSP2 Player tooltip
- Un-funky flagRSP2 NPC tooltip
- Other Add-ons can NOT add Mob quest information to NPC tooltip

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: When "Default/Light Mode Tooltip" = UNticked
Should result in:
- Funky flagRSP2 Player tooltip
- Funky flagRSP2 NPC tooltip
- Other Add-ons SHOULD be able to add Mob quest information to NPC tooltip

Under recommendation of my guild leader I downloaded and installed this mod. However, I cannot get it to show in my add-ons list, even after restarting my computer. I am currently using several add-ons, so I know where it goes, and my out-of-date add-ons are being loaded.

What did I do wrong?
