GatherMate2
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
GatherMate2_Data
GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for Shadowlands, and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.
If you are looking for a pre-filled database for GatherMate2, get GatherMate2_Data here:

Any chance of adding the various raptor nests to the list of 'treasure'? Would be very handy now that the pets drop from the nests, not the rares.
Thanks.
I tried registering at WoWAce but could not do so (some sort of 'bad request' error).
Thanks.
Thanks maybe it wasn't as simple of a question. Any feedback/answers would be greatly appreciated!
The only way you can know if a node is spawned or not is by getting within that 80 yard range or whatever it is and then the server will tell you if it's there or not.
This is not entirely accurate but it gives you a general idea of how it works. As it works a group of nodes are tied together and only like 1 out of that group can spawn at a time. when the timer resets another random node from that group will spawn.
Isn't it possible to enter a preset for routes? could save you alot of time especially since you dont understand how nodes work. This will guarantee you an increase in production when farming nodes.
Im using 1.15.2 and am still getting the lipmapdata error in the fire lands. something about tline 795 and line 800
Disabling the addon turns off the spam.
Blizz has changed the mote events soo manytimes, i gave up on trying to get it to work properly each patch since I dont have an engineer.
Morning, It's been a while since I've extracted motes of air from Nagrand. Mid July I believe. And when I did I guess I posted the problem at the wrong half of the GatherMate program. Anyway, when extracting the motes of air GM2 had been leaving behind the windy cloud icons at the place of extraction, when all of sudden on that day in mid July it began to leave behind steam cloud icons. Now, it's not a big deal but my map is covered with the windy cloud icons and it is now making a very uneven look, just thought to let you know, and also that it isn't leaving any icons behind now in Zangarmarsh. (water vapor) Thanks for your time.
This code change is posted by Impurator at this link http://www.wowace.com/addons/sexymap/tickets/99-sexymap-and-gathermate2/
Can the authur implement a change so that a call to GatherMate:GetModule("Display") has a depricated function to actually call GatherMate2:GetModule("Display") to make this addon backward compatible since the name has changed.
Thx
On the account not showing the active nodes, I uninstalled all GatherMate addons and reinstalled via Curse. No luck. I physically removed the GatherMate folders from the Interface/Addons folder, downloaded and install the GatherMate addons physically. No luck. I physically removed the GatherMate folders and then copied the GatherMate folders from the 'working' accounts Interface / Addons folder. No luck.
Remember, I have compared both accounts and ensured they were running the exact same addons on both toons with one exception. The alliance is running Spellflash - Druid and the horde is running Spellflash - Rogue which should NOT be an issue.
Any suggestions?
please fix this you addon is the better than the rest IMO :)) keep up the good work! and thank you.
