GatherMate

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Collects Herbs, Mines, Gas Clouds and Fishing locations and adds them to the worldmap and minimap.

Please note this has been replaced with GatherMate2 for Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.

I've been using it for a month now and my computer isn't having any problems... It may depend on your computer specs.

Tried both Gatherer and Gathermate, and this addon won out simply because it had data for Northrend and Gatherer did not.

For everyone's safety I recommend NOT downloading this!!

If you already have it on your computer DELETE it!!

I guaranty it will slow your computer down and you will get extremely frustrated..

If you were going to be more accurate you should say that you should not use the database without configuring filters for what you want to see. all information gathering tools use notorious amounts of memory to allow information "on demand" look at quest helper and complaints about that. "Duh."

my be a side effect of old nodes in your database. I would suggest you delete those nodes 'the crawling ones' and then go re-harvest.

Lovely addon, until I installed the 1.25 data. The nodes there were so clearly wrong (too many) and in crashed the game every time i tried to use the database maintenance.

The mineral nodes in EPL are not correctly placed on world the map and the icons 'crawl' over the minimap. I am using r637. Would a fresh reinstall work or are your size data off?

I'm using 1.0.11 r637. The mineral nodes shown in EPL is very far from their correct placement and the icons are 'crawling' over the minimap as I move around the zone. Would a fresh install help or are your size data for EPL incorrect?

Bug:
I went to the Storm Peaks to farm Lichbloom. Icethorn and Lichbloom nodes where getting changed to Frozen Herb nodes.

I second this bug report. Same thing happening to me in Storm Peaks. I don't herb in Icecrown, so I have no idea about that zone.

Suggestions:
1) Seperate minimap and world map scales
2) Allow smaller scaling on the minimap. This comes from using Lunarsphere's main sphere as a minimap. If you increase the sphere's size, it makes the icons/rings ridiculously huge and the current minimum setting still makes them too big.

no, gatherer only chares with the guild, but i want it to do that: /join gathermate and then send nodes to taht channel, so the whole server is connected

Is it possible to let gathermate join a "gathermate-channel" to trade gather nodes? that would be great :)
