GatherMate

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Collects Herbs, Mines, Gas Clouds and Fishing locations and adds them to the worldmap and minimap.

Please note this has been replaced with GatherMate2 for Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.

Is it possible for the addon to make some noise or do some other action when the yellow dot appears on the minimap?

Love this addon..

..Although, sometimes when I'm out mining, and spy a node/deposit, it has a green circle around it on the minimap. Now, due to this green circle, I'm not able to see whether this node/deposit is Saronite or Titanium, for example. Since the green circle is keeping me from hovering over the yellow dot itself.

Was wondering if there's somehow possible to bind the 'show/hide circle' to some easily accesible button.

Thanks for an awesome addon!

tehre is a keybind to hide the tooltip on the window and you could always change the alpha of the circle to be less intrustive.

You still have to search the map, this simply points you to locations where herbs have been picked i.e. they're likely to pop up there again. It doesn't do all the work for you ;)

hi, i am having a few problems with this program.

1. green circles show up, but there is actually no herb at the spot.

2. i dont see any nodes showing up on world map. i need it to show because im counting on this program to get me my herbs without manually searching the entire map for them:(

please advise me on the solutions. thank u :D

Confirm redshiftnova's report. Only have problems in Storm Peaks. Be it Lichbloom or Icethorn, they all get overwritten as Frozen Herb.

Why don't you use GatherMate_Data, instead? (You have to open Gathermate and manually import the data either way.) Also, you can have WoW load out-of-date add-ins or edit the toc file (change first line to: "## Interface: 30000") yourself.

Do any of you know if Gathermate_CartImport is going to be updated? I am not able to load it, it's greyed out on my screen =( can one of you look into it? ^_^ Honestly I love this addon, and I can't imagine ever using any of the other ones ever, I'm a die-hard gathermate lmao

Heya,
Was out farming today and I noticed that GatherMate is listing all Lichbloom and Icethorn nodes as Frozen Herb (425) instead of their actual type. All other Northrend herbs appear to behave normally other than those two.
Edited to add: Correction, it is ONLY reporting Lichbloom/Icethorn as Frozen Herbs when in Storm Peaks. They display normally in Icecrown.

german localization: "The Frozen Sea" is called "Die gefrorene See" on german clients, not "Der gefrorene See". GM does not add nodes while fishing in this area because it cannot recognize the zone.

There is one VERY annoying issue with gathermate's options interface that has existed in every version and still isn't fixed.
If I click the "Database Maintenance" or "Import Data" menu options all of WoW locks up and never comes back.
If I press the + sign and then select the submenu option, it works fine.
However, sometimes misclicks happen and it just kills wow.
Can this please be fixed, it's incredibly annoying.

Interesting. I've never seen this myself, and I've updated Gathermate_Data many, many times, doing an Import and a Cleanup every time. (The Cleanup part takes a maybe 5-6 full seconds on my Q9550, during which the entire WoW client is locked up)
