This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
Collects Herbs, Mines, Gas Clouds and Fishing locations and adds them to the worldmap and minimap.
Please note this has been replaced with GatherMate2 for Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.
Taegor: Yeah...it would seem the 1.5 million downloads of dissatisfied users. I wonder how many downloads it takes to become a "viable" addon?? And did you even make any effort to customize the display to match what you like? I mean...after all...your SOLE purpose for trying the mod must have been to troll, since, as you say, it's only for lazy people that can't remember where nodes are.
My useless flame at the troll aside, today I noticed that my circles are no longer static on my minimap. They are moving. They move towards me slightly as I approach them, and away from me as I move away from them. Did something just change that I missed??
i got some porblems with the gathermate data, it says when i import it, that it is import.. but when i check it out nothing is found.. what should i do, please
I hate this add-on. Sure, it's helpful, for someone who is so lazy, they can't remember where the nodes are.
The menu system is clumsy, there is no way to "apply" the new settings, some settings don't work, i.e. - tracking certain nodes, saving different profiles, etc.
It clutters the mini-map screen, which by the way, you have to enlarge so big to see the nodes, that it makes it hard to see where you're going.
I wouldn't recommend it. This needs more work, if it's to be a viable add-on. Until then, this is useless and annoying.
I've been notified the download on the site is malicious, from my virus scanner. Also the developer claims it's a bot, which is violation of 'Terms of Use'. Automation isn't allowed, especially when it's intention is for allowing player to play the game unattended.
I just downloaded this and imported the mining nodes and it works fine in a few zones but in Sholazar, Icecrown, Storm Peaks, and Zul' Drak all the nodes are squished in a smaller version of the map on the normal sized so instead of them covering the map they are the same shape in the top left of the map... how do i fix this
Been using gathermate for ages, along with a little addon called track_sw, which changes tracking when you are near a node of another kind, well since 3.3 this addon has somewhat broken.
I was wondering would you ever implement the use of track_sw into gathermate?
Not sure if it is the new patch or what but gathermate no longer works for me. I had been using Cartographer3 and gathermate worked fine until latest patch. Please someone let me know if the problem is the patch or if it is now incompatible with cart3 or what.

This & other addons (ex. Atlasloot) dangerous only if abused, which is very unlikely.
