Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Collects Herbs, Mines, Gas Clouds and Fishing locations and adds them to the worldmap and minimap.

Please note this has been replaced with GatherMate2 for Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.

I have a question about icon size. it's rather odd, but on one server the icon size on maps is huge vs the other, and as far as I can tell they both have the same size setting... any ideas what could be effecting it? I looked over other mods but didn't see any that seemed like they could effect the maps in any way. (guess I need to do further testing)

I tried downloading Gatherer, but could not get it to work on my Mac. Downloaded this one, and it is working great. Thanks! It's just what I wanted for leveling my gatherers :)

Hi there
Gathermate does not show for me the nodes i got when i'm fishing. Gathermate options are currently by default, it most show nodes if i have the profession, but it does not do it. Any change in options does not cause any effect on it. The addon does not report any bug so nothing to report here. Gathermate is installed whithout any extra-modul. What happened...?
Feature request: The only thing i miss in this addon is the possibility to updated with my nodes, the database of another user using gathermate and vicervese. Can you implement this feature?.

I've been using this addon for a few months and it's great. However, I'm curious if I should keep this activated on 'non-gatherers' to collect herbs/mine ore locations or if that information can only be gathered by herbalists or miners. Can you update your description to clarify this?

As an addon author, I can assure you based on the following that this addon is NOT what hacked -anyone's- account.

1) Addons load after you login
2) Addons are COMPLETELY restricted by blizzard, why do you think that you have to get updates after patches. They have removed ALL functions that have anything to do with the OS, therefore it cannot install a keylogger after login that would then steal your data.
3) My account has dozens of addons that I have either modified or published and hundreds of comments to addons. I'm not some one-time poster.

Lastly, if you still believe after all of this that an addon could steal your account information, go take a look at the addon's code. In your WoW\Interface\Addons directory, go to the directory of the "suspicious" addon, and drag one of the .lua files to WORDPAD (not notepad). The file is completely in text. You may not be able to understand it, but you can learn it if you are that interested.

Addons have not, cannot, and will not ever steal or be able to steal your account information. Anyone posting otherwise is misinformed or flat out lieing.

Curse should just ban posters who say an addon hacked them. It's hysterical and it spreads misinformation that hurts and confuses other people.

DRDAN is right I've been using this mod for years, works great. Sinking it with routes makes gathering a joke. Also I have been using curse for 5 years now and never been hacked. Your key loggers people are coming from those sites you buy your gold from. So don't get mad if you get hacked cause nine times out of ten it's your own fault.

but if the addon watches you type you password then get the authenticate thing for your ipod its free and it creates an 8 didgit number for 30 seconds so there is no way you can get hacked

Kann mich dem Rest nur anschließen und warnen - mit Unterbrechung spiele ich WoW seit Release und hatte NIE Probleme. Heut komme ich nach Hause und mein Account war gehackt - GatherMate + GatherMate Data waren die zu letzt installierten Addons.

Lasst die Finger davon und lest im besten Fall die Kommentare, hätte ich auch tun sollen ;)
