GridStatusHots

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Separate indicator with timer (and counter) for: Rejuvenation, Regrowth, Lifebloom, Wild Growth, Riptide, Earthliving, Earth Shield, Renew, Grace, Prayer of Mending, Power Word: Shield, Weakened Soul, Divine Aegis, Inspiration, Ancestral Fortitude and Beacon of Light.

Notice that GridStatusHots does not output icons, only colors and texts, so it will not work if displayed in e.g. the "Center Icon" indicator.

IMPORTANT (r174 alpha / 4.2.0.2b beta or newer): ALL STATUSES SHOULD NOW BE DISABLED BY DEFAULT SO YOU WILL HAVE TO MANUALLY (RE-)ENABLE THEM! (e.g. Grid -> Status -> My Hots -> My Renew -> check enabled)

I don't know how your patch is displayed, but imo ideally would be to display time left as: 15 - 3, where 15 is the main Sacred Shield, and 3 is the triggered shield buff.
Maybe this can be configurable?

How do you use the Range Check check box that appears in the setup screen for hots like Rejuv? If I check that box what happens on grid? What should I be looking for or expecting to happen?

When you chose to have it show Buff: Renew, did you make sure you chose Buff: My Renew? They are different and if you do not choose to show only YOURS you will get everyone else's too. Hope that helps.

I have the same problem and I chose My Renew. I'll have to use Healbot I guess for a mod to show only my renews.

Did you make sure that Buff: My Renew is the only thing checked for that indicator? If you also have just Buff: Renew it can't tell the difference between the two and so will give you results for both.

Yes, "Buff: My Renew" is the only thing checked for that indicator. "Buff: Renew" is not checked. Yet it still shows other druids' renew. :(

I'm having the same problem with everybody's renew showing up as mine. SHould I get the latest beta (or a specific one) from wowace ?

I can't seem to get this working. I'm not sure if it doesn't work since 3.1.1, or I'm doing something wrong/don't have Grid set up right.

I followed the instructions pretty explicitly (or at least to the best of my interpretation). The GridStatusHots folder shows in this path; C:\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\GridStatusHots. I tried with Grid corner icons showing the individual hots that I wanted. Grid is updated to it's latest version. Relogged.. still nothing.

Any advice? Thanks in advance.

For a Discipline Priest, it is very important to have an eye on the Weakend Soul Debuff (powerword:shield debuff). 2 reasons: First, you wanna know when you are able to cast the next shield. Second, you gain a crit bonus on these targets, essential for tank-healing. Would you add an indicator für weakend soul plz?

You don't need GridStatusHots for this. You can easily add a debuff (or buff) to grid yourself, as long as you don't need a timer or changing colors depending on time remaining.

thats the point, i'm looking for a timer. as holy priest i use the 2nd line as renew-timer. as disci i don't use renew at all so this timer could be used for weakened soul.

imo even more important than grace stacks/timer, but usually i'm holy so ... not sure about it

Hi Bogenlampe, I hope you read this. I'm attempting to make the switch to grid from Healbot due to annoying bugs in the way Healbot works. I've pretty much gotten grid to do everything I want except for one thing. I want to be able to see my own Earth Shield on a frame as well as a different indicator for that of another resto Shaman for the sake of less over-riding. As far as i can tell, GridStatusHots is the closest thing to being able to accomplish this. So this is my feature request, if at any point in the future you are bored and feel like adding Earth Shield into your code even though it's not technically a hot, that would be pretty much the most awesome thing ever. :) Peace.

Im not seeing the timers for rejuv, or regrowth, the color 3 for rejuv is all jacked up, it shows up transparent once it hits my threshold, as for the timers, i dont even know where they are supposed to be showing up as theres no screenshot of this thing in action, any insight?
