HeadCount2
HeadCount2
Re-Write of the original HeadCount. This rewrite is to move to Ace3 and WoW 4.0
HeadCount2 is a configurable World of Warcraft add-on that automatically tracks raid attendance, loot, and boss kills.
HeadCount2 answers the following questions:
- How long is a player active in a raid?
- How long is a player on standby for a raid?
- How long is a player offline during a given raid?
- What loot dropped during a raid and who received it?
- What boss kills occurred during a given raid and who was there for the kill?
Features
Raids
- Raid creation: Automatically creates a new raid as you join or start a raid.
- Raid finalization: Automatically ends an existing raid as you leave a raid.
- Raid management: The user can end raids, remove raids, or remove all raids on demand.
- Raid zone tracking: Zone name are automatically added to raids as you zone into a raid instance for the first time.
Player attendance
- Player tracking: Players are tracked based on their timed participation in the raid. Players can be tracked based on configurable raid groups for raid list activity (active raiding players) and wait list players (queue/standby players).
- Player removal: The user can remove tracked information for specific players on demand.
- Player history: View specific player history for a raid to see how and when a player moved from activity to standby to offline and back during a raid.
- No list tracking: Players can be tracked as non-raid list and non-standby players as needed. Players that go offline are automatically taken out of the raid and wait list groups for tracking purposes.
- Integrated wait list: Receive whispers from members outside of the raid group in order to track them.
Boss kills
- Boss kill tracking: Tracks the world bosses killed during the course of a raid and the raid list members present for the kill.
- Boss kill removal: The user can remove tracked boss kills on demand.
- Manual boss kill: The user can add a boss kill to the current raid at the current time with the current roster via the config UI
Loot
- Loot tracking: Tracks loot received during a raid based on configurable item level quality (default: Epic item level or higher)
- Loot removal: The user can remove specific pieces of loot on demand.
- Loot exclusion: The user can manage loot exclusion which will prevent certain pieces of loot from being tracked during a raid.
Export
- Export: Users can export current raid attendance and received loot information to one of a number of formats (CSV, XML, Text, EQdkp XML string, phpBB forum post, phpBB with ItemStats forum post).
Reporting
- Boss kill broadcast: The user can optionally broadcast when the raid kills a boss to a configurable chat channel.
- Loot broadcast: The user can optionally broadcast when a player receives a valid piece of loot to a configurable chat channel.
Performance
- Fault tolerance: If the mod owner quits WoW, restarts WoW, or reloads their UI during a raid and returns to the game, HeadCount2 will attempt to gracefully recover from the outage to continue tracking the active raid.
- Attendance delay: Configure how often HeadCount should manage attendance updates to increase or decrease performance and/or accuracy.
What's the replacement ?
Can I use this just for myself to track my gear I get from Flex mode bosses/normal boses to track RNG for me?
I need to find a way to only record raids I want to record, like bi-weekly raids w/guild or something or maybe the odd raid in between.. but NOT every single group I enter.. is that possible??
Not sure if this is totally dead or not but is there an update in the works or can someone point me to another tracker for attendance that will export xml
Is this the only addon that can track loot and attendance? Just seems like with new wow ui that lists all loot thats picked up in the raid, that this mod is doing more work than it needs to. Also it looks like the mod is just made to work. No new features or anything to make it easier to use.
Just seems risky to rely on just one addon, if it breaks you're sol.
I got this error now, tried to reinstall, still the same error, any ideas ?

I really like HeadCount. I wrote a PHP script to parse headcount CSV export and keep track of attendance/loot on my guilds website.
HOWEVER! We've noticed significant issues missing loot due to the player being out of ranged when it was assigned. Please consider linking the loot logging ot the master looting assignment interface. That way the master looter's log will be correct, regardless of who is in range/not.
Thank you for maintaining a good addon.
There are several posts in regards to this, and none have been addressed. Can someone please give at least a work-around?
I've got this installed on all my toons, and it works great on them all except for one. Regrettfully, the one toon it does not work on is the one that I need it, and that is in a seperate guild (of which I am the guild leader).
I do not see the button on the mini-map, and when I check the UI, there is only an option for debug to be checked.
I really would appreciate a response to resolving this.
Thanks
1.11 tagged now uses the Encounter journal to get out boss names and handles multi boss fights using this info. will fallback to babble boss for older instances.
il be adding the changes soonfor the new raids and such. it will work right now in mists, just wont detect the raid bosses in mists yet
Please update this addon for Mists. I've been using it for loot tracking and xml export for years, and in my humble opinion it is hands down the best at what it does.
ill be doing some work on this for mists. ive been mia for a bit I know but new job is settling down some now
@Txbabe0269
Add is dead. use mizuraidtraker.
I have a friend that is trying to download headcount2 for the first time and it's not working. He's not seeing the mini map icon and the only thing he sees in config is debug other then that he can't see anything. He's trying loading the addon from different sites and he's tried turning off addons and nothing is working. Please help!!
Having the issue were i dont see the icon by the minimap to edit files. when i go into the interface and click headcount2 it only shows a box to check or uncheck "Debug". Would like a response on how to fix the issue. I see there is a couple post similar but the issue has yet to be resolved.
Actually, this addon function for 4.3 see Zone, Loot, but Boss not All in french
So it's possible to function good in english:
it don't see "Morchok", "Hagara the Stormbinder", "Ultraxion", "Warmaster Blackhorn" in Dragon soul. You add boss after kill when you loot.
But it see "Warlord Zon'ozz", "Yor'sahj the Unsleeping",
But i don't know this boss into this dragon soul "Spine of Deathwing", "Madness of Deathwing". I search for why !
