You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Posted May 31, 2010First of all great update to a great addon.
I have one question for you. Is it possible to use two different layouts for the same frame ? For example I am using a layout for my player's frame, but i would also like to be able to set a second layout for my player's frame (and the same for my target frame) as well (kind of like a HUD).

Posted May 26, 2010You've got several options outside of something like that:
a) Use Clique and create a click binding to do this when clicking on the unit frame. Setting Clique to run the macro: /click FOM_FeedButton will do the trick. Of course this would apply to clicking anywhere on the unit frame and not just on the happiness icon.
b) Using the keybinding feature of Feed-O-Matic.
c) Put the /click FOM_FeedButton macro on an action button and click that instead. If you're feeling very crafty and your actionbar addon supports this. You could put the button on top of where your happiness icon would be and set it not to show unless you have a pet out.
XPerl's support for Feed-O-Matic is works by moving the FOM_FeedButton. The problem with this is that PitBull4, is going to support multiple singleton frames shortly. Which means you'll be able to have two pet frames, both with happiness icons. Question then becomes, which icon would have the button placed over it. Finally, I tend to take the view that it's wrong to start mucking with another addon like that.

Posted May 24, 2010i was just wondering if there is a option to resize the stack number of your deadly poisen or sunder armor....
the problem is, that if you have your own debuffs to a size of 44 or so the stack number is so small that it is hard to see :/
anyway pitbull4 is huge improvement to pitbull3. nice work :D
ah and sorry for grammar mistakes im no native speaker :P

Posted May 19, 2010FYI to anyone running the alpha and that is concerned with frame levels. Frame levels for the frames within the unit frames have changed. In particular Portraits, Auras, Totems, Indicators and Texts have all had their frame levels raised.
The new frame levels as offsets from the unit frames levels are:
-1 GroupHeader 0 Unit Frame 1 Bars 5 Portrait 9 Aura 10 Aura Cooldown 11 Aura Text 13 Indicators 14 Totems CD 15 Totems Text 17 TextProvider OverlayIf you've adjusted your Aura frame levels in your configuration, you will need to readjust it. The old default was 2. The new default is 9. You can find the proper setting by adding 7 to whatever you have. If you haven't changed the Aura frame levels you don't need to do anything.
If you're using some other addon to add frames over PB4 you may need to adjust that addon as well.
