PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

I may just be frustrated at the fact pb3 isn't working (I've been using it pretty much forever) but I can't seem to get my raid & my party frames to two different places (http://imgur.com/H1IB0.jpg like in here).
That's my only HUGE problem at the moment, I'll deal with pb4.

Couple of Questions:

Did you make a new group for Raid (so that you have a Raid Group and a Party Group)? -- PB4 does not initially come with a Raid Group and you need to make one. Check the Guide linked above if you need help making a new group.

Under the Party Group's Filter tab, did you check all the sizes of Raid groups you wanted so that your party frames are also showing up when you are in raids?

On the General Tab for each Group, Be sure that your Current Group and your Unit Group are matching up.

Is that what it is? It looks like it flickers when I regen health or mana, but sometimes it does it when the bars are full, too.

And there are no healers by me at the moment.

I can turn it off and see if it makes a difference.

EDIT: OK. Visual Heal is NOT enabled, so that is definitely not it.

Are you sure you're not seeing VisualHeal kicking in. You're more likely to see heals coming in now because VisualHeal data is given to us by the game. So this means even healers outside your group healing you will show.

Looks good..except i cant get the portrait to come up. I have it enabled..checked and all..tried disabling it and enabling it again. But still no portrait. Any ideas what I might be missing?

Did you uncheck "enable" on the Modules > Portrait tab?

Did you uncheck "Enable" on the Layout Editor > Indicators > Portrait section?

What is the deal with the latest (beta12)?

On live servers, sometimes the bars (mana or health) extend and flicker past the borders of those bars.

It's kinda annoying. I'm playing a warlock and noticing this atm; I haven't checked other characters yet.

I like Pitbull a lot and don't want to change to another UI, so can somebody please tell me ow to:

1. Be able to click on the screen and clear my target.
2. get rid of my aura's and but keep those of my targets.

1 - This is the same as the default. Its not PB. To change it, go to Main Menu (esc) Choose Interface > Controls and uncheck Sticky Targetting.

2 - make a new layout for your target frame that is not the same as your player frame and turn off the auras on the target frame layout. See the guide if you need help setting up layouts.

Odd... I just tested on my hunter and focus was updating. Did you update today? There were a number of bug fixes that went in with the latest release.

Well main thing I'm having problem with right now is i can't get the portrait working for player and target and it seems for thing's like buffs/debuff they can only be turned on or off but not say off on the player and on for your target.

It sounds like you need to make a new layout. In PB3 each frame had its own layout. In PB4 you can make as many or as few of layouts as you want. So if you want to reuse them you don't have to set them up all over again, just apply them to the frames where you want to duplicate what you already did. If you like having different layouts for each different frame then just make that many layouts. (one for player, one for target, etc) How to make new layouts is in the guide.

Portraits are located under "Indicators" on the Layout Editor.
