Heal Organizer
This add-on helps organizing the healers in your raid by allowing the user to drag and drop healers into different assignments. Assignments can be as complex or simple as the user wishes.
= Quick Start =
- Open Heal Organizer by using the slash command: /healorganizer, /hlorg, or /ho
- Click on the default assignments (%MT1%, %MT2%, …etc) to change wording
- Drag and drop healers into assignments
- Optionally enable whispering assignments by clicking “Whisper healers…”
- Click “Raid”/”Channel” in the “Broadcast” section to publish the healing assignments.
= Usage =
- Assignments can use %MT1% through %MT10% as replacement strings for main tank names. Main tanks can be set via CT_Raid enabled add-ons like Ora2.
- Any unassigned healer automatically takes on the “Remaining” assignment, but will not be whispered.
- There is a key binding registered under the WoW standard key binding interface. (Press ESC => Keybindings, to bring it up).
= Autofill =
Hover over an empty slot and use your mouse wheel. It will cycle through the following labels:
- Empty
- Priest
- Druid
- Paladin/Shaman
= Saving Sets =
You can define 30 sets which can be saved, loaded and deleted. Each set saves the assignment text and class for each assignment. It does not save the healers’ names as players are likely to change between raids.
= Slash Commands =
/ho dialog
This will open the heal organizer dialogue. This can be used in a macro or you can just setup a key binding via the standard WoW key binding interface (ESC => Keybindings, look near the end).
/ho autosort
This option toggles whether players will be sorted by class/name within groups. This is only useful if the order you assign healers denotes things like backup healers or secondary healers.
= SVN/Contributing =
Contributions/suggestions are always welcome, but it doesn’t mean I will always use/implement them. Please feel free to contact me! For source contributions please provide a diff.

I've been using Healing Groups Suck but I'm always on the lookout for something better.
This mod has loads of potential. Being able to pickup the CTRaid Main Tanks is fantastic!
A couple suggestions to help displace users of HGS:
1) Allow healers to be assigned to more than one target. 2) HGS just added in a "comment" field for extra healing tips. Great feature. 3) 30 sets fills up quick. 4) As stated, need like 8 slots per target.
new Version 1.3.141592 is out
I would suggest that you make it able to save the templates between sessions, but within a raid you make it able to remember the actual setup (with actual healers) for the different scenarios (bossfight, trash++)
In short: Save templates and have it remember the specific setup during the raid
It would also be very nice if you could make your frame scalable, I would love to have it up during fights sometimes, to adapt :)
Awesome mod, exactly the functionality I've been looking for.
I was wondering if you can add more healer boxes to each mt assignment boxes?
define a set by your own. Select the slotclasses like MT1 and MT2 gets one Priest and one Druid and save it as "Trashmobs". So after a boss press reset, load "Trashmobs", click autofill and announce the arrangement. Dont know I if should add saving sets with acutally healers, even only temporary...
something i really feel the need of
after every boss i need to put up again trash healing.. and i simply dont remember it
there is a way to make a snapshot? or maybe two sets? (trash / boss)
this addon rules :)
Okay, svn works again ;)
Added the whisper-feature and release v1.2. Thanks to Clarox.
@Obscurus: Hmm, I won't add a usability to send the arrangement set throught the addon-channel. Let someone else use this addon who doesn't leave the raid ;)
@Clarox: I have added this and it works, but it is only locally on my computer since I can upload it to the SVN (I got some errors atm.)
Sometimes we are switching our raidleaders during the raids. but if we do that, the actual dispatching get lost. It is possible to send the dispatching trough addon-channel to the other Healorg-users with A ?
I've made a fork of your mod for my guild (http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/addons-5269-1-heal-organizer-clarox-update.html). Currently the main change that I added is the ability to whisper healing assignments to healers. Would you be interested in porting the changes back into the main trunk?
Changes are: HealOrganizer.xml: Added a checkbox in the broadcast frame. Localization files: Added string for the checkbox text (and minor fixes). HealOrganizer.lua: Added lines 680-685
No any comments. It works so far? Great ;) I'll planned to add some kind of better autofill feature since it just select the first free healer, which is sorted by names. Maybe you got some ideas on how a healer should be selected. This all is btw. a really low priority task cos the autofill works.
I'm interested on which labels you choose/entered on which encounters/bosses: Maybe I will see a new token required - and of course i'm just prying.
Hi again, The autofill doesnt seem to work for me in raid. Do I have to turn something on for it to work. A priest who uses this too said his doesnt work either. Im not too bothered as I can do it manually but I thought it would ask.
Oh by the way its an excellent mod man. So good for organsing healing groups. Great how it works with ctraid targeting too.
Edit: I just read your post re autofill and I think I must have to use the mouse wheel to select class for the autofill to work. Ill give it a go next raid.
Yeah that should work fine. Ill just edit the names that should work just fine.
spotts
agree with Spot, the addon is great, it made assigning a lot faster and better managable. therefore i'd like to see a option to increase the number of healers that can be assigned to a tank.
Keep up the great work!
First of all Great AddOn!
And now... Coult you implement a function which whispers the healers their function on click. So like not Posting it to a Channel or Raid but message each Healer to whom he is assigned to?
Change the labels of the groups, just click on them. Sth. like %MT1%: %MT1%: %MT2%: %MT2%: shild MTs: decurse MTs:
And save them (with the slotclasses for autofill) as a set.
I have been using this and its great for assigning 3 or 4 healers for various tanks. But I sometimes want to do say a group of 7 healers on one tank and say 6 on another off tank like in the firemaw fight in bwl. Is it possible to increase the amount of boxes to beyond 4 healers. Or is there a simpler way to do this.
Oh and the autofill is a great addition.
version 1.1 added
I have implemented the autofill function. Setup the classes per slot via the mousewheel. Then press autofill and it fill the slots with the healers from the remains-part. I have change the set system as I add the autofill function. So your set become invalid. If you load a set you will get a error message about some invalid index. Ignore them, delete all sets and readd them.
need diferents group-slots 4,5 or 16.
damn, "MainTank" isn't equal to "MainTanks". Fixed it ;)
With this Bugfix I change the version-number to 1.0 and the "show"-command.
